Attended Bromsgrove at 0910hrs today for a headlamp bulb to be fitted. Was informed that this wouldn't be possible until after 0930 when they had more staff. None of this was communicated on the website. As there was already someone else waiting for a fitting and I had other commitments I went away and made a timed booking slot online for midday. Upon arrival they were clearly not ready for me and a walk in customer for bulb fittings took priority over my timed booking. There was clear disgruntlement amongst the staff at being asked to fit my bulb. After fitting, I was asked to go back into the store to get my paperwork. Inside they couldn't find or understand this. As the fitter returned it was agreed there was nothing to collect! With regards to the actual bulb (Halfords Advance 200% H7 477) I am concerned about longevity. I had 2 fitted in April last year, one had to be replaced in June and now the other one today. Surely at the price they should last longer than just over a year? On the subject of price, the cost of installation has also gone up from £9 last year to £11 now; thats over 20% increase in a year!

Ben at Halfords Bromsgrove went above and beyond when fitting my new front number plate. He fitted new screws because mine were rusty plus matching screw covers too. Very pleased with the overall service. Thank you Ben at Halfords.

I was on route from County Durham to Dorset when I developed an electrical problem I?m series one E-type jaguar. When I pulled into the car park at Halfords a young gentleman called Nathan came out from the store to meet me in the Carpark he was friendly, polite and interested he quickly identified the problem used his training and knowledge to come up with a solution and quickly sent me on my way with the problem fixed and some additional spare parts just in case. Nathan was extremely professional, polite and helpful and is an utter credit to Halfords, thank you

I went into Bromsgrove store and ordered a bike for my feandsobs birthday to be delivered to Sheffield hid home address.
This was for his birthday his first bike.
The lady was told 3 times the address and she kept saying for collection..She finally understood and took my grandsons address.
I then recieved notification to collect it from Bromsgrove.I rang up Halfords and it went to a central phone number who sent a message tooth storecwhovrang me back the next day.I was told they would call back the next day.
They offered me a refund which I would get into my bank a week later.Or a gift voucher to go on line to purchase it. I Would have to go to the shop to get it go home and do it myself.
A further phone call can't give me a refund system won't let it so I gave to visit the shop again to get hopefully my cash
My grandson will not be getting his bike on his birthday now
