Booked at 6.30 as had 2 children with us took over an hour for starters to come out which were all really delicious apart from the Parma ham/melon with was a large plate of melon with 3 strands of ham on, however the mains then took another hour and were very very poor the cod dish was very small with dry cod on some beans and 3 strands of asparagus the kids chicken nuggets were lacking chicken actually in them both kids complained about them and left most of it
At over £230 for 6 seems overpriced and pay for the location not standard of food

Keeps on getting better! The menu continues to improve and the food is excellent. We went again on Saturday afternoon and the food and service was of the highest quality yet. Great ingredients and the team are trying new things that match the seasons.
Really taken a step up recently. The fish was cooked perfectly, the pasta is freshly made and the wine selection is great.

It seems regular customers get preferential treatment and new customers are invisible. The manager spend minutes chatting with various tables of customers but told us that he ?didn?t have time? to speak to us when challenged. Our drinks took 45 minutes to be served to us and actually arrived after our food. The food was ok but not worth the price we paid. Overall this place looked nice from far but our experience was far from nice. I will say, one of the young waitresses was very friendly and polite though.

Saturday evening a party for 5 , management was excellent all staff work hard and very professional . Food was delicious, definitely will be returning .The Spencer family .

Food was good wine also.
We were not greeted when we came in seems management and staff only pay attention to there regulars quite uncomfortable to sit as not made to feel welcome.
What a shame as we were looking for a new experience.

Heard bad things about this place but wanted to give it a chance. I called up to make a booking and the lady said, ?Sorry, I am busy doing a wine tasting event so won?t be able to take your booking, can you call back in a few hours?? A very good way to turn down business. I am not going to call back. The response and tone was rather dismissive. It was the tone that was shocking. Pay attention to the poor reviews, there?s a pattern!
Edited to add: Very unprofessional reply back from the ?Restaurant?. I could say a lot on this but I won?t stoop as low. What you could have done was recognise the unprofessionalism, apologise and try to make amends. Instead, your reply was illegible and sarcastic. I won?t take up journalism but perhaps the local social media pages would like to see the chain of negative reviews and replies.

Nice, tidy place that brings a good touch to Barnt Green. Enjoyed the food quality and taste.
I was happy with the food taste and quality. However the service was a bit slow and not so attentive.
At times there was large gaps between meals and we even ended up having one person on the table with their food in front of them whilst others had to wait at least another 2-3 mins for their food to arrive. I think service could improve for sure. However, we had enough fun to say that ill be back. Plus, the change their menus regularly, so def worth another shot.

My wife I visited C&C to try out the new menu. Which is very exciting read and it took much deliberation to choose a starter and main. I opted for the Trout Tartar and Venison while my wife chose Confit Duck and Pork. The starters were superb. My Trout was amazing full of flavour and textures. I also had a sample of the duck which was cooked to perfection. Wow we thought let?s move to the mains. Once again the chefs at C&C did a fabulous job. The plates were beautifully presented and I am pleased to say there were great flavours to back it up. So hats off to all for the bravery in the menu and for delivering quality food presented in a lovely way. As a foot note a big thanks to all front of house too who were once again at their very best.

As a regular customer I wanted to thank the team at Cork and Crust for a wonderful evening.
Lloris the restaurant manager always make us feel welcome.
The staff at front of house were attentive and a smile for everyone.
Now the food. I had the house special King prawns with linguine pasta which was Outstanding and really fabulous.
I?m the first to offer criticism when a bad evening but I would really recommend Cork and Crust.

Absolutely delicious! The rissoto fungi was a standout - perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The hake was also fantastic,Everything was fresh and beautifully presented.
