Have often eaten at this restaurant and been very happy but on Wednesday 2 friends and I met up for lunch and were v disappointed. Rock hard fried egg obviously left over from breakfast, frazzled dried up chips, oily mushroom toastie and tasteless kebabIt will be awhile before I go again

Went for afternoon tea.it was very nice, except the scones had no sultanas in which I prefer.sandwiches were nice too, although ide never had prawn sandwiches with an afternoon tea.the staff were very helpful and polite.would recommend.

Count your chips !!!We go a lot to the club. Its a really nice setting and fabulous staff, but im not sure whats going on with the food? It looks like the chef is sponsored on portion control. As picky as it sounds, we had Sausage Egg and Chips cost £7.50. Now Two sausages, one egg and Eight chips, YES only x8 chips. It comes to something, that when we asked our server about the size of the portions? they said that they too had asked the chef, if they were half portions.!!!

Poor attitude from bar manager?.20-25 of us in eating and drinking whilst playing foot golf? manager turned off the football to put on rugby despite no one wanting to watch rugby?. Very poor attitude? ?we?re more of a rugby place?. Won?t be back

Played 9 holes on Friday when my course was closed. Considering the weather the course was in great condition and paid a very reasonable price as only 9 holes open with a couple of temporary greens. Clubhouse and shop are very well presented and decent prices. Will definitely come again.

Family xmas lunch. Food ok. Service miserable. Some of the party only received zero roast potatoes not enough to go round. Mince pies served wirh no icing sugar. No serviettes, coffee not enough people catered for yet paid extra. Cleared tables with out asking if drinks where finished. Just awful

Very disappointed with our Christmas meal on Sunday. Sprouts were more than al dente , pigs in blankets and stuffing balls were still raw so inedible. Same for whole table. Did inform waitress.
