Seriously cute pub in a seriously cute village. Great place for a day trip, thug we were just passing through.

Great place to eat epically if you have dogs and they can't be left. Really friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

They very kindly found us a room in a place nearby as they?d had a rain leak. So we went there for dinner. Wow! Fabulous food. I had the meat pie and my friend had the lasagna. Absolutely delicious. And the staff so friendly and efficient. Excellent!

A traditional inn, a little small inside, so we were lucky to get a table though it was after the lunch service. Real fire made it cosy, very homely feel.

Very Disappointing. The blonde lady behind the bar was very rude and not welcoming at All. The Sunday roast was bland and under portioned. 3 slices of thinly Sliced pork, and 3 glassy potatoes. No yorkies, and veg was horrible. The room was nothing to write home about, with a shower that trickled hot and cold water every 3 seconds. Beers also very expensive. This place is old and tired, just like the staff.

Poor food and drink hygiene and the owner cuts corners with the condition of the rooms, etc

Whilst this is a lovely traditional back street pub with a nice selection of beers. The price of the real ale is extortionate......£6.50 is ridiculous. Considering it's way more than the much higher end choices on the high street and it's no majestic palace I would certainly not go back.
