Me and my partner went to the Black Boy for the first time last weekend and I think we have found our new favourite local pub. An excellent choice of drinks, cobs and bar snacks
The drinks are quite inexpensive for today's standards also
The staff are very friendly and made us feel welcome, the pub has a lot of character and a very homely feel.

Lovely old pub selling a good selection of beers including Enville, HPA, Butty Bach and the local Bewdley Breweries Worcester Way. When it's sunny you can sit outside in the large beer garden.

Lovely evening on Saturday sampling the new menu. We were a table of 4, 2 of us had the beef burgers, 1 had the charcuterie board and 1 the cajun chicken. Portions were generous and the food was great, all plates were cleared and just left enough room to share a couple of the desserts...sticky toffee pudding and a sundae.
More than happy to recommend.

The little pub in bewdley

Quite a steep walk up the hill to the oldest pub in Bewdley makes the locally brewed Worcestershire Way Bitter even more refreshing to drink. Three different choices of freshly made cobs well worth having. Perfect afternoon chatting away to the regulars makes it difficult to leave such a friendly atmosphere. Well worth seeking out but check opening times before the ascent of Wyre Hill!
