Possibly the worst wetherspoons ive stayed and ate at. Whole buildings rundown,bedroom tiny with window that did not close,got woke up at 6am with a beer delivery that sounded like thunder for 30mins,breakfast rotten all dried up and overcooked,complained to duty manager (max) who just fobbed me off without an apology..shocking!

Stayed here on many occasions, very nice old world pub in the centre of Bewdley. Rooms nice and bed and bedding good. Staff very pleasant and friendly, would recommend ???

Good selection of food and drink at a good price. What's not to like. Fast food service and an excellent beer garden during the summer months.

Great location and fantastic breakfast. Staff greet customers with a smile and are very helpful. The service is quick and efficient. The manageress is a credit to The George/Wetherspoons and seems very supportive towards the staff

I came to the George hotel on the 16th July for a meal with my family and friends, food was great and was in front of us super quick. I was so surprised at how busy the pub was, yet everything was being kept on top of, when people had finished with a table they were cleaned as soon as they could, everyone was so friendly. The lady behind the bar, possibly a manager? Taylor, she went above and beyond and was absolutely amazing, everytime we passed she was always smiling, she was engaging with all the customers and laughing with all the staff and customers.
I will be visiting again, and a lot more frequently. Thank you for the great experience.

Nice historical hotel usual wetherspoons deals cheap drinks shame that stopped doing steaks and grills diminished the menu some what

We popped in for a drink and then returned later for a meal.
The food was of a higher quality than you expect for a Wetherspoons- hot and clearly made fresh!
What stood out for me was that the bar manager really cared and lead by example here- even when it came to clearing tables.
The wind blew some napkins from a plate and instead of leaving it as he was carrying a stack of dishes he put the dishes down to chase the flyaway napkin!
Can?t comment on the rooms as we didn?t stay there!

Imagine not having chips the freezer broke down couldn't nip out to Iceland and get a few bags until the order came
