Great find as we were exploring on Sunday. A proper, friendly and good pub food at very reasonable pricing. Quality of the meats for the Sunday roast were good. Certainly not using pre packed meat slices other places use. Will definitely come back.

We arrived on horseback and received a warm welcome & were allowed to tie the boys up in the beer garden. They were given water, whilst we had a couple of beers and delicious beef baguettes. It's a very old pub and thankfully it hasn't become a trendy wendy establishment, but retains its old world character.

This could be such a nice pub, but it needs a lot of TLC.
Inside looks tired, carpets are worn and dirty.
Outside the benches are rotten, the catering van looks like it hasn't been used for a while. I don't understand why anyone would think an old lorry parked in the beer garden looks good.
We didn't eat so can't comment on the food.
We won't return here.

lots post weekends . Inc karaoke, quiz nights and singers. food is a must great portions . fab choices and affordable prices.
we class ourselves as the locals even though we live in Bewdley.
they don't do food on a Monday and Tuesday but always a cob or some sort of stew or soup available.

Had a walk through Wyre Forest and ended up at The Button Oak at lunchtime. Lovely atmosphere, food and great service. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Good traditional pub with excellent customer service. Food was freshly cooked and served quickly. Honest old fashioned pub with character and history. Nice pint too!.
