Quickly becoming the favourite local pub for me. The drink selection is thoughtful and local- always had a delicious and well-poured pint when visiting. The atmosphere is special. Not only is it situated by the canalside and marina, giving you a staple brummie experience, but the interior is warm and cosy. Perfect summer and winter time pub ?.

We had an overseas visitor who wanted a good pub Sunday lunch and it was not just good but excellent, well cooked and presented with a choice of two dishes with meat and one without, together with some cauliflower cheese and a good beer or two to go with it. Friendly staff and locals, too. We walked it off by going two miles back along the canal and up over the fields to Barnt Green. I hope we can have another reason to return to the Weighbridge before too long

Stopped by for dinner on a Friday evening. As the weather was warm, we sat outside in the sunshine. I chose the ploughmans and they swapped the meat elements for more cheese, as I don't eat meat. My husband went for the vegetable tart and the pastry was delicious. As the pub is next to the marina we enjoyed a short walk to it afterwards.

After a fairly thorough scrounging of the British pub scene on our canal boat trip and London excursion, I rate this to be one of the finest stuffy ol' boozers in England. Great cask ale, great prices, outdoor seating, top shelf crowd. May the Weighbridge live long and prosper.

Cold, smelly, dated... most importantly - poor staff attitude!

What a delicious meal we had yesterday evening! Steak and kidney pie for him, fish pie for her, both served with hot seasonal vegetables. Delighted to see traditional pub grub back on the menu, and in generous value-for-money portions.

Lovely rural canal side pub with a fine selection of ales. Good selection of single malts too. Friendly and welcoming staff. Close to train station, which is very handy
