Just been for a lunchtime meal at The Crown in Broad Hinton. The Inn has only recently opened under new management.
The food was excellent, the service was first class and the decoration is lovely. Everything is first class. Erin is a joy. Really made us feel welcome and took care of us beautifully.
We will most definitely be back and plan to make The Crown our go to place for a great meal and delightful welcome.

Happened to go on opening night for dinner. Lovely cosy pub, friendly staff (if still learning the ropes), and unquestionably some of the best pub food we have ever had - the pie crust is unbelievable. We have already planned to come back! Wishing the new owners the best of luck!

What a fantastic opening evening!! (23/08/25)
Erin, Ion and team well done to you all. The atmosphere was great, live music was spot on, food was delicious, bar was busy, good choice of drinks, games in the garden.

Opening night 23/8/25. Food was great. It was free but I would gladly buy a meal here. Opening night issues getting drinks. We'll see how this place is in a few weeks.

We have a lovely meal here. We all had lamb and it tasted delicious. Lots of different areas to sit and a lovely outdoor seating area, would be good for kids to run around. Plenty of parking and they also have a pool table.

Out for the day with my 2 young children & 8 month old Retriever. I stopped at The Crown for a drink & food. What a lovely country pub with a fantastic beer garden.
The staff were amazing & couldn?t do enough for us.
The kitchen had just closed but they still managed to sort some food for my children.
Would recommend this pub to anyone. Great pub, great service.

Waste of time, roast said 12pm-3pm. Turned up at 2 o clock and was told they had stopped food. Clearly a pub for local people. DO NOT VISIT!!!

Really liked our visit to the Crown Inn at Broad Hinton.
The staff and owner were friendly and helpful. Personally I would have liked to see a better selection of cider on tap/in bottle, all a bit to trendy for my tastes! The food tasted really nice except for the chicken Kyiv which was over cooked and all the butter had gone to the front which was a little war damaged!

Our first visit to the Crown for Sunday lunch and it won't be our last. Friendly service delicious carvery with a choice of 3 meats and plenty of vegetables.
