Darley our host at the Bell Inn in Wylye was unbelievable whitbty and funny, thank you for love stop off on our travels through to the south this evening... serving the most delectable evening meal sat in a aydilc courtyard next to the church in the summers evening air... only wish we could stay longer.. but we will be back! See you again ***** fire stars for the rump steak cooked to perfection and the baked hake was amazing.

The hosts went above and beyond for me and I?m truly grateful. It was my first time traveling abroad alone and staying at The Bell Inn was like coming home to hug. Located about a 10 minute bus ride outside of Salisbury city centre it was a perfect respite from NYC. Public transit is easy to use but plan your trips, and if you don?t like doing that id recommend hiring a car. Room was spotless, bathroom was so big with a walk-in shower! With a quintessential English pub downstairs with delicious eats. All the patrons were lovely and I can?t recommend The Bell Inn enough, can?t wait to come back.

Stopped over here to eat a quick meal before a tour at Stonehenge. I walked to the pub from my accommodations in Great Wishford. Got a burger and the French fries and it was delicious, the owner made them perfectly. I got stranded as all the taxi companies were busy but the owner let one of his customers/friend borrow his car to get me there on time so I didn?t miss my booking! He didn?t have to do that but I appreciate the great food and the going above and beyond to help a stranger out. Thank you!

Booked via 3rd party provider. Was contacted by landlord prior to arrival to confirm. Allocated a ground floor double room with a small fridge, coffee making facilities and wet room comprising of the shower and toilet/sink.
Bed was comfortable and the surroundings were quiet even though we were adjacent to the pub and pub garden. Pub garden was a good size and private. Parking was barrier access across the road from the pub.
Landlord & Landlady were the only staff so did well to manage the pub, the food prep and the rooms. Landlord was jack of all trades and had plenty of food orders to contend with. Don't know how he managed it all as he was under pressure. Great menu and food was very good and you could tell it was homemade.
External areas had plenty of plant pots and borders but nothing planted at time of visit. Children's play area was secure and had large swing and slide set. It was weather worn and a a bit grubby from the elements.
Overall would recommend a stay.
Probably trying to keep costs down by not having staff but they do well for a team of 2.

Absolute fantastic find. Highly recommended. Rooms immaculate, food incredible and super service. If you do Stone Henge and need a very reasonable priced room then this is the place to stop. Great price for the accommodation aswell ?????

Lovely pub with really tasty food and great service. The room was well equipped with small fridge and tasimo coffee maker as well. The room was spotless and clean and nicely decorated. Good choice of food for breakfast.

We enjoyed an evening meal at The Bell with some friends last night.
They told us that it would be good and we?re not kidding.
Well worth a visit and the fruit crumble was superb.

Such a lovely family own this pub and have clearly poured their hearts into it. The rooms are very comfortable and homely and the food second to none - you will need a good appetite as it?s too good to leave! Highly recommended!
