Stopped on the way to Brighton for a breakfast and wasn't disappointed by the food. Lovely breakfast indeed. My only gripe is the dog that wanders about, harmless enough and well behaved but not whilst eating our food surely. The whole experience was finaly ruined by someone turning up with another dog and having it sat on their lap "at the table" next to us. Disgusting to say the least and enough to put us off ever going there again. Shame really as the food and staff were very nice.

Great breakfast cafe. A fresh feel and a good welcome. Had vegan English - with an egg, all delicious. A good start to a Sunday morning.Vegetarian options: Good choice, nicely done.

A fantastic find after a couple of hours out riding green lanes and byways with my friend John. Lovely friendly staff and one of the best breakfasts ever, can happily recommend this pace and will be back again soon. Freshly cooked, piping hot and very tasty fresh ingredients, the sausages especially!!

The mocha was divine! The friendly dog that lay down at my feet was also very sweet. They were out of one of the sandwiches I wanted, but my second choice ended up to be the better one, so I?m chalking that up to serendipity! I had the smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich on brown bread. Overall, one of the most satisfying light luncheons I?ve had in a while. Great friendly service, and they used a bit of sign language, too, which is always nice to see, as I?m Deaf.

Went when previous owners had it. Disappointed to learn that new owners you cannot reserve tables. As we come from around the area it would nor be good for us to turn up in case there were no free tables. Hoping to support the cafe as we were always happy with the service and food. Hopefully booking tables will be back soon
