Great village pub great food we both had brazed blade of beef and it was excellent afters strawberry's and ice cream and Eaton mess was also excellent very friendly staff, allso has a great 5van site at the rear with great views of country side will certainly return

From the car park it doesn't look very good, but you can't tell a book by its cover!! . It's a really nice pub.

Stopped off for a drink as we were staying in hotel near by.
Saturday evening about 8pm.
No drama, good menu, fantastic service, good pricing and the food was excellent.

Great pub and a good atmosphere

Went there a good two weeks ago on our first evening in England and were completely thrilled. The booking in advance was very friendly - and this continued immediately upon arrival. Our dog Mango was also very welcome and we were able to spend a great first evening with wonderful food. The pulled pork on salad and the lobster gratin - so delicious. Then the goat cheese on salad and the pork fillet in a panchetta coating on vegetables - simply perfect. Then a short walk to the nearby church and then into the camper, which we were allowed to park behind the house. We would have loved to come by again on the return journey - but somehow our email request didn't seem to have been received. Gladly again another time.

We found this pub by chance just passing through Whiteparish. So glad we did. The food was first class and great value for money. Defo going back for a second visit. We had New York chicken and the dressed crab. ?

Had a lovely lunch today, really pleasant staff, very attentive, the food was delicious and served quickly and piping hot.
