I booked a table via Typetalk (UK Relay) for deaf people and it was easy to booked a table. I was very impressed with excellent service. Food was amazed.

I?ve been to the fire station a number of times but this was the best it?s ever been.\n\nI got the preorder steak - to say it was cooked to perfection would be doing it a disservice. The wood fire oven did something special! \n\nShared it with the family alongside a margarita, yet again better than I?ve ever had there. \n\nI usually go around one a year, now I?ll be going much more often.\n\nAdditional plus: Gluten free beer on draught!

We ordered gluten free pizzas, the pizzas came out warm to touch so I did ask the waitress if they could warm it up and she took it back. Told us because it was a gluten free base they couldn't leave it in the oven too long or it burns quicker.... Not experienced that before myself. She bought it back and it was warmer, but still not piping hot, we were hungry and ate it anyway. The flavours were really good, shame it was cold to the touch. They didn't offer any compensation, I wouldn't have expected much, 10% off, or a drink or something, but it didn't seem like it was important that someone had to send the food back to the kitchen. Like I said, great flavours, not sure I'd return for warm pizza though. The service was mediocre, had to call the waitress over a couple of times, and really make an effort to get their attention, £25 each for a beer and warm pizza

Went here for my birthday and absolutely loved it. The food is delicious, fresh and very tasty (the sausage board is a must). The decor is both unique and wonderful with clever lighting to create a lovely ambiance. Dave and his hard working team (the girls are delightful), were efficient, warm and welcoming. Dave also really supports the local community, so many many reasons to make this the place to visit, make sure you book as understandably can be very busy. Local business at its best?

I chose this restaurant because the concept sounded fantastic?imagine a pizza place set in an old fire station! The venue absolutely lived up to expectations, with its fascinating exterior and interior. There was so much to see, making the setting a solid 10/10.\n\nUnfortunately, the food and service fell short. I found the pizzas to be heavy and greasy. \n\nThe service also left a lot to be desired. Despite arriving with two small children, we were seated at a table uncomfortably close to another, leaving us to adjust it ourselves just to sit down. No offer was given to move the table for us considering we had two small children with us. \n\nWhile the waitress took our order, there was no follow-up to check if everything was okay. Some dishes arrived while others didn?t, and there was no communication to reassure us that the remaining plates would come shortly. It left us uncertain whether they had been forgotten entirely.\n\nIn summary, while the venue was truly unique and worth seeing, the overall experience didn?t quite deliver. I?m glad I visited once, but I wouldn?t be in a hurry to return.\n\n---\n\nWhat do you think of this version? It emphasizes your points while flowing smoothly and maintaining your original impressions.

Customer service is clearly not a priority! Ate here with my friend and her baby this evening. Great setting but it was pretty cold inside. Ordered olives and hummus/bread sticks for starters and two pizzas. The pizzas were decent enough, the olives were not great, they were essentially cheap supermarket black olives. Service was good until we asked for our leftovers to be boxed up to take away, and the waitress came back to tell me they'd dropped my pizza on the floor, I'd only eaten half of it. They offered me a 10% discount off just my pizza which I said wasn't really proportional to the amount lost. A different waitress came back to say they were only 'allowed' to give me 20% off just my pizza. So I got £2.80 off for losing almost half of my pizza. I did argue this again when I went to pay but there was no budging and little remorse. They just didn't really seem to care. (I also don't understand how they did manage to save two tiny pieces of pizza for me when the whole plate was smashed on the floor? Makes me wonder if they just ate the rest of my pizza and lied about dropping it on the floor, also never heard a plate smash in the open kitchen, a mystery!) I think a manager is necessary on the shop floor rather than just the junior members of staff especially for a busy Friday night shift.

Lovely venue and good food. Parking is nearby, which helps. It was a busy night, and the staff were very good, but we did have to ask for things one would expect to be on the table already. Recommended for a good night out though.

Just enjoyed an extremely delicious Roast Pork and baked apple roast will all the trimmings.
Cauliflower Welsh rarebit was scrumptious, Followed by raspberry tart and cream.
2 courses for £23 and well worth the money. Fresh delicious ingredients
It would be good to know in advance that the food is cash only .. saves the delightful waitress some awkward conversation, and a trip to the cash point .. there was another table that was unaware vegetarian options needed to be pre ordered. Some minor hiccups.
Improve on the communication and the whole experience would be faultless !

Had a lovely pizza, decent service, parking 5 min walk away. Decoration style like eating in a junk shop. Nice place though, a favourite of people I know working in the area
