My thoughts are:
Explain what you are going to do before you start so the customer is aware and then they can make an informed choice eg if you are about to wax eyebrows before an eyebrow tint, ask if that's what they want first and also explain it's at an additional cost to the tint.
From my knowledge toe nails should be cut straight across and not rounded. If this is the usual practice of the salon then the customer should be given a choice.
The man at the salon seemed nice and friendly and offered us a drink.
On the day we went the shop front looked like it could do with a clean.

Unfortunately, after booking an appointment and arriving on time, I was left to wait in the lobby for 15 minutes with no explanation. I decided to leave and went to NP Nails around the corner who saw me straightaway without a booking.

Apple Nails; by far the best nail salon I?ve visited in many years. Since finding this wonderful business 2 years ago, I?ve never needed to go anywhere else. Each time I arrive with a different challenge, I?m greeted with a smile, a confident yes and I?m never disappointed. Always offered a drink and the staff are all courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable about all the services they offer. Thank you Apple Nails!

Not a great service from them the gel is thickly applied and is lumpy they haven't done the nails right it's chipped at the top of my nails thumb nail is broken bubbles have appeared after having them done i won't be back

went to get my acrylic nails removed they did a terrible job. soaked my nails too long so my nails went really weak and they filed down way too much. my nails have gone really thin and are snapping off. wont be returning.
