DON?T bother ordering a salad here.
You cannot have a salad dressing of any sort? ?Sorry sir, we don?t have any salad dressing? What is a dry salad worth? It?s expensive, and not very well prepared.
Plus if you DO order a salad, you had better like cucumber as 50% of the salad was lots and lots of cucumber Ugg

A store with a great selection of products, however please provide your cooks in the cafe with further training. The new way of ordering and refurb is good however attention to detail with the food is lacking. I have had two breakfasts since the refurbishment; with the first when I had poached eggs, the eggs were rock hard. When I said that to the staff they apologized but after waiting for well over half an hour no replacement came so I walked out. Just had a fried breakfast today and when served the packets of butter had be thrown on top of the fried eggs and covered in yolk. I do like your store and cafe overall however the current attention to detail issues are in danger of letting a great cafe down

The café is clean.
To order food/drink you need to use the touchscreen order points (similar to fast food chains).
The food was hot and everything was correct.

Why is the newly refurbished cafe only using touch screens for ordering? There was nothing wrong with the original method of service. You have just lost my custom.

Disgusting ? ordered breakfast through just eat. Overcooked eggs, bacon, and hash browns. The eggs were more like rubber Frisbees than a food product. Grey bits of potatoe in the hash browns. No tattie scone but was given a slice of toast instead. Some bright spark decided it was a good idea to put 4 butters in the bottom of the bag before putting cooked food on top of them so we had to fish the food out of a bag of melted butter. Ended up putting it in the bin after 2 bites. £10.75 for this sloop is disgusting, never again.

Every time I order the fish, chips and peas from here I get an upset stomach. The food is dripping in oil, takes 30 minutes to be ready and is fried to the crisp, to the point it can?t be cut into. Disappointing.

We was served today by Jessica- baring in mind its Christmas eve so very busy- she was polite, friendly and had a huge smile on her face. We sat and watched her with other customers and she was amazing with them too, especially the young children. Credit to your team. Please pass this on to her.

Long walk from the front door to the back right, via the escalator. This makes it inconvenient before or after shopping. Atmosphere? Loud, jarring, but the fit and finish is fair, if not boring. Though the food is a shadow of itself, the staff are lovely and caring towards customers. I've never seen it busy, nor does it service the locals as a place to eat an evening meal. When it was at the front, it was very busy, a hub for workers, locals, and the elderly to have a meal. Now it's largely forgotten. Yet another Tesco miss step, making rather a lot of those lately, almost like they just don't have a clue.
