Pets at home is a fairly pricey store, they do have everything you need when it comes to pet care, plus, they offer a loyalty scheme for some extra savings.
With rabbits, guinea pigs and fish available for same day purchasing. Medical supplies, leads/collars, food, snacks, treats, bedding, pumps, electrical tags, clothes, mobility aids etc.
No toilets. Free ample parking outside.
Staff are fairly young but very knowledgeable. They seem understaffed on occasions.

At least this one actually sells some pets. Staff friendly, however education and knowledge could be upgraded

I swear everytime i go in there is dog pee on the floor, usually the shop assistants walk past and ignore it.

Hello,
I would like to file a complaint regarding one of your employees who served me today. I had planned to purchase some fish from your store, but due to the rude, arrogant, and unfriendly attitude of the staff member, I decided to leave.
Here?s what happened:
I entered the store and politely asked for some fish. Instead of helping me, the employee started scolding me for having a catfish in my aquarium. I calmly explained that I was planning to give the catfish to a friend and that it wouldn?t be kept with the new fish. His response was shocking ? he told me not to bother giving it away and that I should just throw it in the trash or flush it down the toilet.
I don?t believe a staff member should treat customers ? or animals ? this way. Because of this experience, I went to a different aquarium store where I was treated with respect and received proper service.
I?m writing this to warn other customers about this impolite and disrespectful young man, and I sincerely hope that management reads these reviews and takes appropriate action.

We adopted the best little guy there, the staff is very knowledgeable and caring, Bubcio was with us for 2 years(Syrian Hamster) and even grew to love the vets. We just got another little fellow from them, and the staff was very understanding and satisfied with our knowledge about those fluffballs. I do recommend the customer service, the vets and all the treats and care they offer to our little friends. They do have an exotic vet/micro pet vet so give them a call, they will take the best care of your furball.

i bought a hamster from here a couple weeks ago and paid for everything i was told to be perfect for my little hammy within a week i noticed he had a very sore eye and called the vets to book an appointment the vet wasn?t there until the scheduled time and clearly had gone home early and by the next morning where the appointment was available the little boy had died! please don?t buy from here as they clearly do not check these animals for illnesses and just sell them off no care in the world??

Today wasn't a great day for shopping here. We wanted some more tropical fish but the assistant was catching some for another customer. Or at least attempting to, mainly unsuccessfully. We decided not to get any because the fish were going to be too stressed after her attempts for more than 10 minutes to catch any!!
