“My first shop here for many years as I don't usually go past the shop but this week I went in after hearing about the 10% savings on Tuesdays for over 65's and was pleasantly surprised to find very reasonable prices and many special offers, plus the discount. The meat was very tender and tasty. I'm going back there again.”

“Don't shop on a sunday very busy, got what I needed, prices are going up but not my pay. More space to park now. They got rid of a car wash. If the prices went down you get five stars.”

“Lovely local shop but after many years of going there they sometimes make the prices a bit too high but most of the time it's very cheap and good customer service”

“I like home bargains. It's cheap, so you get the quality you'd expect but a great place to browse.
My biggest bug bear is that you have to walk about 3 miles around the shop to get to the tills, I know it's to stop shoplifters, but if you're going to inconvenience your elderly customers, who perhaps find it hard to walk that far, does that actually make commercial sense? The staff are ok i guess. But then I don't expect they're paid too much, so I dont expect them to be bouncing around! I've given 4 stars for the range and prices.”

“Good value, doesn't really get that busy normally, Some items we buy regularly are not quite as good as Tesco (braeburns and bananas don't tend to last very long).”

“As to be expected from a small local Tesco, the range in here is always fantastic for a store of its size. The staff are always friendly and happy to help, and it's a go-to stop before any day out for me. The meal deal selection in this particular branch seems to always be better, thanks to its slightly more remote location in comparison to the other express stores in the town, making it a good place to go out of the way and get the meal deal combination you actually want rather than needing to settle for the scraps left behind by college students on Frome Road, or the post-4pm Sunday rush mess at the one nearer to the Extra store.”

“Great store , but toilets in cafe are truly disgusting . I went in the baby change facilities based in the cafe area and felt sick when I sore and smelt the overflowing nappy bin. Mentioned to the staff who said it wasn’t their job , I’m sure it is a cleaners job , probably a contractor , but honestly , if I was in charge of the cafe there I would have fine in with a face mask , rubber gloves and a bin liner and emptied that disgusting g bin fir the sake of Tesco customers , particularly as we’re still in technically in COVID . Shame on you Tesco Cafe Manager !! Won’t eat in there again . They were like it last week too !”

“Had a great experience here with the staff who were helpful when I got lost driving after my phone died. Especially the one (sorry didn’t get name) that went above and beyond to print out google maps so that I could get back safely! Excellent customer service.My only slight criticism is they could stock more Apple charging cables.”

“Very clean and tidy..Helpful staff.And all working well,the parking area is massive, the selections of food,clothes and drinks in this shop is unbelievable, you can also use Argos whilst your there, as like a number of them now they use a shared space, probably my favourite part about shopping there is going to the pizza counter choosing a pizza asking them to cook it whilst I'm shopping and just before I head off towards the till collect it pay for everything and then sit in the car park and eat it,always beautifully cooked and just the way I like not soggy....”

“A store with a great selection of products, however please provide your cooks in the cafe with further training. The new way of ordering and refurb is good however attention to detail with the food is lacking. I have had two breakfasts since the refurbishment; with the first when I had poached eggs, the eggs were rock hard. When I said that to the staff they apologized but after waiting for well over half an hour no replacement came so I walked out. Just had a fried breakfast today and when served the packets of butter had be thrown on top of the fried eggs and covered in yolk. I do like your store and cafe overall however the current attention to detail issues are in danger of letting a great cafe down”
