After doing a preview at the Salisbury store we returned to Trowbridge as, though further from Shaftesbury, less traffic.
Checked before leaving; the Stock levels. 4 in Stock Confirmed at POS.
On arrival spoke to a helpful you lady she went out to the Warehouse to collect the laptop but returned explaining that they can't get it ready for me for 2hrs (ie the Warehouse staff couldn't be bothered to look)
So it seems that the Warehouse staff have primacy over the sales staff. IMHO not a good policy: who's Labour pays EVERYONE'S wages.
Anyway left the store and ordered on line from home. Free delivery by 04/09/25 a day and a bit.

Went into Currys yesterday to get some advice ref a new TV set up. Spoke to Ethan, what a knowledgeable polite first class young man.
Went back in today to find him to make the purchase.
Currys delivery charge is a bit of a joke as they didn?t have one in store and couldn?t get one delivered to store for collection, but would deliver to my home next day? Bizarre ..
But the main reason for my review is Ethan, Currys look after this young man he is a credit to you.
If I was currently looking for more staff in my business I would offer him a position.

I had an issue with a laptop brought in store a number of years ago and whilst I pay for the laptop with the care plan I didn't want to send it off if at all possible. Staff in store were helpful in assisting with the issue - particularly Curtis who's technical knowledge and manner was extremely helpful in resolving the problem.

Saturday 5th July 2024. Went inside at 1400, to buy a large amount of white goods, plus 2 tablets.
We had to ask for service 4 times, no one came.
Worse still, my friend who is disabled, asked to use the toilet. To be told to go the Mc Donnalds.
I went back the next day, as I wanted a pizza oven. 4 staff members on the ground floor were not serving customers, just milling around.
10 minutes I asked for service, a sloth of a staff member arrived. I pointed out the item i wanted and aske to confirm the price. 3 times I asked.
We took the tem to buy it, the price increased by £20;00. Plus it was clear the box had been opened and the contents, repacked, badly.
A Manager was called. She was useless. The manager even tried to lie to me that her staff were in a briefing when i entered.
This is not the first time the service in this store has been woeful.
Chippenham and Bath have a lot better staff and managers.

I went to Trowbridge with the intention of several purchases a television and kitchen appliances dishwasher dyson fridge freezer and washing machine.
One person was serving the rest of the staff were sitting by the lift nobody was upstairs to help I am disabled and used the lift to go to the top floor then back down four staff were sat by the lift door and not one asked if they could help me I waited by the tills and the one guy working was still serving so I left. I then went to Knees electrical and got excellent service .

Staff swarm over you, probably to get commission. I only wanted a dvd player and some advice on a sound bar. The assistant knew as much as a 2 year old. Please invest in training. Going to use AO from now on.......

Went here to buy an air fryer and a washing machine, walked out with both. Can?t remember the name of the lady who served me but she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products being shown. Helped schedule the best delivery slot for the washing machine which was appreciated.

Pre ordered the Nintendo switch 2 from Curry's. Apparently Curry's was given a large sum of Switch 2s and accessories from Nintendo. While pre ordering, I was talked about what my favourite games were etc and had an overall vastly positive experience with the staff. If I ever need to order an item from a tech retailer, it will be Currys.

Aaron helped me and my husband greatly this afternoon by scoring me a deal with really nice microwave containers with the microwave I was buying without us even having to ask because he was genuinely trying to provide the best customer service we could have had. Thanks Aaron! A true credit to your company and team. You made our Easter nice and bright in this grey weather!

THE WORST PRICES !!!! Never go there again !!!!!
Paid £17.99 for a Google phone charge lead , which the same exact lead was cheaper at other retalers , cheaper on Belkin's own website and a lot cheaper on eBay and I have pictures to prove it !!!!!!
I also noticed other items in the stores are more expensive too .
Strange thing I noticed met at the door , not given a chance to browse , felt pressurised , no wonder the store was empty of customers !!

I went to look at televisions but the whole of the space was just showing was prices and so poorly managed that all the screens were washed out..... I then looked at Samsung tabs and realised that the prices were roughly £50 more than the Samsung website... Might have been nice to speak to some staff but they seem to be just having a party in the middle of the shop
