Very disappointed with curry?s??shocking company to deal with post purchase.I recently bought an end of line fridge/freezer ex display. At the time of purchase I checked for damage and all was fine. I reiterate I bought an ex display item and NOT a damaged item. The fridge freezer was then delivered to us with a number of dents. The delivery guys said they could do nothing as the damage was noted on the delivery note?.. and I was told I needed to call curry?s. This is the interesting bit! The copy that I signed in store doesn?t mention anything about any damage, as you can see from my image attached! Now then?.the delivery note does show there is damage, but it?s quite clear that this has been added on after I signed?..now that?s pretty much fraud in my opinion.I?m writing this review as curry?s after sales service is quite frankly S&@t! Actually trying to speak to someone to get this rectified is impossible. I?m told I need to go into store, yet I?m not able to due to work commitments?.so I?m currently left with a damaged fridge freezer that I don?t know what to do with. In the hope that someone who can actually rectify this issue for me sees this, please get in touch!Oh and there aren?t 5 dents??there?s many more!Seriously seriously disappointed

Needed a dishwasher in a hurry we were served by Jonny he advised us of what machines were in stock and one of them was a Bosch which is what we wanted. Good parking and they loaded it in our car. Do give them a try.

Went in the other day brought a new TV at to be fair a bargain price seemed a bit strange though every time I've been it's been loaded with customers this time however I was out numbered by staff 6 to 1 not one single customer in there apart from me

I am so very grateful to your employees Rhianne & Johnny. They were so incredibly helpful to me. I had unfortunately changed my phone plan instead of increasing my allowance. It was my Mum's funeral the day after and I no longer had a signal. . Rhianne listened to me and then directed me to Johnny. He changed my SIM and wow I had a phone that worked again. I am so very grateful to the two of them as I needed people to be able to phone me as I was organising my Mum's funeral. Thank you so much to 2 wonderful people and wonderful Customer Service. I wish I knew how else to thank them. I will buy my next phone from you. Best wishes Teresa Cotterell

After previously having very good experience here I was disappointed today. I went in to look at some headphones for my wife. The ones I was interested in were boxed and there wasn't a display model. I asked an assistant if we could open them to have a look at them. She informed me this was against policy, I then asked if I were to buy them and they weren't right, could I bring them back? She again informed me that this wasn't possible. In the end I left and have just ordered them on Amazon for a better price and a no quibble guarantee.

To whom it may concern,I have recently purchased two items from Currys.#1 a Bose home speaker which was faulty. This has been returned to be repaired, I?ve not heard anything apart from a message telling me that I can collect (after being repaired) only to be met by a rather unpleasant employee who told me it could not be fixed and was being sent off again. This was a cost of time and fuel of me going to the store twice, once to drop off and second the incorrect information that it was ready.#2 an LG HDTV which broke after 5 days of ownership (no accidental damage etc) Whilst I was given a replacement, this doesn?t factor in the fuel cost and hassle to transport a 55? TV from my house back and forth from your store. The manager there was also quite rude, treating my return as if I was lying, (I believe her name was Sue) back screen was flickering majorly, she stated she couldn?t see it) but thankfully 2 other employees agreed with me and after much hassle I was given a replacement. (I also have video proof).I do not expect this incompetents and rudeness from a company of your size. Please respond as you still have my Bose speaker somewhere, otherwise I will have to go down other avenues in order to get my money back. I?d also like to know how you could reimburse me for the fuel I have used due to your mistakes and bad products.Kind regardsLuke

Went in this morning hoping to buy a phone. Shop was almost empty. Waited 20 minutes hoping someone might want to sell me one. Guess they don't, so I walked out. Shame as I want to support local shops. Will go online.

Sat nav wasn't in stock, monitor wasn't in stock, infact most times i check for things in stock it's rarely in stock. Fine if you want a coffee machine but something a little more techy I usually find it's out of stock and have to order it. Rubbish, might as well just order from Amazon.

Got a laptop was told I need to buy anti virus and Microsoft office because they were not on the laptop so paid an extra £70 for that when I got home It was already on the laptop so was told to buy something that was already there staff was not very helpful and obviously didn't know the product

This is our closest curry?s and I wish it wasn?t. Everybody knows Curry?s are a pile of steaming ? you know what. We ordered cooker and a washing machine, £1k. Good get a call the night before confirming 4 hour slot. Nothing. Was also told would get a call 30 mins before. Nothing, we got a call 6 mins and I happened to be on a work call. The delivery driver was trying to explain he can?t do a 30 minute call as they have 12 deliveries and only 4/5 mins in between each. At the door he was confrontational and I explained our stance and said I don?t wanna talk about it, let?s get them in the door & get it sorted. Dogs barking, work call on hold. Kids buzzing around due to summer hols. He just would stop, so I said please stop. Then he called back 20 mins later & still was going on about it. The line went dead so I hung up and moved on. Looks like nothing has changed at curry?s. I dunno how they are still in business.
