It's been a few years since we've been back to this coffee shop. The area we sat in was grubby and the floor littered. The drinks were okay but the atmosphere has changed markedly since we were last here. It is fair to say that this shop is located in a rather run down area which is not welcoming. Costas needs bringing up to date in this area.

It's an OK place I guess. Staff are usually friendly and mostly efficient. However, there often seems to be extra staff hanging around in the seating areas and at those times it becomes more like a Costa common room and customers then take second place.

Coffee great. Service not so good....the two behind the counter too busy talking to what I think was a colleague just dropping in for a long chat while scoffing his lunch at the customer side of the counter. While I did not have to wait, it seemed I was a secondary concern with nothing other than what was entirely necessary to complete the transaction.
