Very helpful guy in the outside garden sale part. Annoying discrepancy between what the website claims they sell and what the store actually stocks. More range in the Chippenham branch.
Generally seems rather expensive even for today's marketplace.I try to avoid this store.

Very misleading on prices. I looked at purchasing a cleaning product and the label under it said £7 whereas they deliberately covered a more expensive price with a yellow label. They point blank refused to offer it at the misleading lower price despite waiting for a considerable period of time to speak to Sophie who was happy to have the price out of view and refused to change it in the shelf so others customers could see the actual price.
Not only misleading prices but patronising and poor customer service.

One item of guttering snugly hidden amongst Stanley knife blades, nails, etc., etc.
Where can I find a plasterer's hawk, please? Oh, that'll be in the garden department.

Staff were definately not in a helpful mood the day I visited on 1/4/25. Asked if anyone could assist as could not find item but told if not on shelf then we don't have it ? Went to find help from someone else but the assistant did not want to know ? How odd when I was clearly prepared to spend money in store. Had to insist they go on computer to check stock. Then I was told to go to Frome as they have said items. Got to B&Q in Frome only to be told items not in stock as the assistant from Trowbridge failed to tell me stock was actually in Bristol warehouse. What a waste of time. More disappointed in the way the staff showed lack of interest.

Dreadful service everyone complaining about the waiting time.
I?m disabled and needed help .
Was told we don?t do that anymore!!!
Maybe bring a family member next time , I live alone my family are in London .
I think they are forgetting it?s the customers who are paying the wages .
As usual the manager was nowhere to be seen.

We had really good service from Ciaran today in the Trowbridge store, we saw him in a different department and asked if he could get a colleague to help us locate a specific kitchen sink that we had seen online. He apologised that he hadn't been in the department (kitchens for a while) but would try and help, the sink wasn't held in stock. Ciaran found it on the B&Q's system which unfortunately couldn't be pre ordered through them. He waited while we ordered online (on my mobile) to ensure that the order went through ?? brilliant service. He was so polite and helpful and a credit to the store.

Today I recieved outstanding service at B&Q trowbridge from Ryan. I've been to B&Q many times in various cities and have always been really impressed with the company and knowledge the employees who work there have. If someone doesn't know the answer they know who to ask.
Ryan went above and beyond to the point I felt I had to leave a 5 star review. Great work Ryan
