I have placed two orders at Argos in Trowbridge and when I have gone to collect them they have both been damaged. I have had to obtain refunds. I complained on both occasions and was told by the Customer Assistants that it is the way the delivery drivers drive and the parcels get thrown about in the van. This is totally unacceptable and causes a lot of inconvenience. It has put me off ordering anything again from Argos.

The only reason it's getting one star is because I can't give it no stars on this platform.Myself, ex and daughter took daughters Christmas present back as not working properly. It was a telescopeIt cost £139.99 it said on my e receipt and normal receipt that we could either have refund or an exchange. We wanted to exchange for £140.00 (id give them the extra pennny) vouchers so little one could get what she wanted with them (she's only a 9 year old). The rude, uninterested and quiet blatantly didn't care staff, said they would only put it back on my card that paid for it. Despite Argos stipulating that we could get a refund or an exchange (I.e vouchers). We wanted vouchers so little one could get what she wanted.Needless to say my daughter was upset that she now has to wait longer for her Christmas present. Due to these idiots not knowing there own rules.I would strongly advise never to use Argos in Trowbridge. There utter useless, and have just upset a 9 year old little girl.I'm absolutely roaring angry.Apologies don't cut it when you've upset my little girl.

Complete waste of space. I understand the whole keeping no stock and having stuff ordered in mentality, but due to orders being cancelled every 5 minutes defeats the point of this kind of store. Get a bigger stock room, or just close.

Very good shop. I recomend. Dont get scammed by the parking on the roof! Use my picture to help.

Very quiet. Order to collect at supermarket as you need to park in roof, pay for hour at bottom of stairs with car reg , just to collect. Does not give change either. Staff okay but not quick

Woman on the door was very rude and snappy, refused entry to my mum who is exempt from wearing a face covering on medical grounds.

Usually has what I need. Balanced against on line, can be a fiver or so dearer but is at my fingertips if I need it post haste

Decent enough Argos for an extra, not as good as main Argos stores but it's ideal for quickness. I would recommend parking in the shires car park and walking across to it instead of using there roof parking though

My wife and I had a disappointing experience today trying to buy a hair dryer at the store. We were kept waiting for more than 10 mind while the middle age woman was on the phone. We complained to another staff only to be told we were hurting her feelings. We complained again to a young lady who handed the hair dryer to us, she to her credit had apologised to us. But we will not be going there again.

employees unhappy and no real urgency to get anything done, was waiting for near 30 minutes, when I could see my order the whole time and watched them take it from where it was, after waiting all this time.

Avoid the car park on the roof. Now run by Smart Parking. Having searched online it appears they charge the same for one hour here as they do in Berkshire, where inflated costs might be expected. They already have you on camera before you realise that The Shires is a better place to park, especially if you want to go to Argos/Boots. You have to go down the stairs/lift to get to the payment machine and that brings you to the opposite end of the site to these stores. Disabled concessions do not apply for those that have them and I could see users really struggling here as the bays are so much smaller than you would usually find.
