Very nice and cozy hotel with good food and a nice bar. Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. Very nice staff! Were there while on a road trip and we came back for another stay because we liked it so much. We will definetly come back in the future.

It was a lovely place to stay, we were well looked after, the rooms were very nice and the food in the restaurant was incredible, we enjoyed it so much we will definitely go again.

A fantastic spot for a Sunday roast, complete with a charming timber-framed conservatory that adds to the cozy atmosphere. I brought my parents here for a birthday celebration, and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were attentive, and the portion sizes were perfect. Highly recommend for a memorable meal!

We had lunch at the Royal Oak last Saturday. It wasn't as busy as I expected, the service was excellent, as was the food. I can recommend the Cornish Hake and Hazlenut and Blueberry Panna Cotta and the prices were appropriate for the quality of the food.
We hope to visit again soon and try more of the menu.

I went there with my son his 21st birthday with my dad and daughter. The food was amazing and service brilliant and friendly. Will definitely be back highly recommend.
Food and drinks: The food was fantastic and great value for money. The drinks were delicious with good variety of local ales. Highly recommend.

We had dinner here midweek and were totally impressed. The atmosphere was realaxed and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was one of the best meals I have eaten in years. The dishes were imaginative and beautifully presented, every mouthful was a delight.
Can't wait to come back and stay the night.

ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES FROM THE START!!! I?ve rang twice over two days about my room to make sure I can pay on arrival!! Get told it would be okay and because someone?s mess up we turn up and they have sold the room to someone else! Absolute joke. Been excited to try this pub for years. Finally get the chance to and it?s ruined. We Live 4 hours away, we were visiting the Isle of Wight and thought it was a great time to try and visit when we get back to Southampton. Now we have to drive all the back to Norfolk at 18:30pm.
Not like we live close either!! The original booking was from booking.com they cancelled and I rang made sure it was rebooked! Thanks Royal Oak.

Thought we'd visit James May's pub. Really beautiful place and very peaceful. Loads of parking round the back. Had the burger with chips and the fish znd chips. Very tasty.
