This was our second visit here and everything was very pleasant with one small exception. The cafe doesn?t seem to be geared up for people who want to order any additional food/drink after finishing whatever they ordered first. We experienced exactly the same problem last time we ate here and things haven?t improved! Having finished our main courses and drinks our group of 6 sat at the table waiting for plates to be cleared and someone to ask if we wanted anything else. As we were by the door to the kitchen servers passed by every few seconds, but all ignored us completely. Eventually we had to request some service, but even at this point the waitress only took our order for cakes without taking any of our used crockery away!! Shortly afterwards 6 dessert plates arrived and of course there was barely an inch of space to put them down!!! In the end we stacked our plates ourselves whilst the waitress waited with the cakes. This is a very obvious issue that anyone with a bit of common sense could foresee as a problem, but clearly it needs addressing in some staff training!!! Maybe it?s rare for customers to have more than one course, but I?m sure we can?t be unique.

Christmas lunch was awesome in a very good way. Cooked to perfection and well presented, staff as always brilliant. The shop is a delight fresh meat is always worth buying. There is a cornucopia of other delights.

Overrated The breakfast is average! Nothing exciting on the menu or different! The quality of the food is there, but they need to come up with some better menus TBH, and be prepared to wait a while for your food!

Food was of good quality. Cooked promptly and nice and hot with good coffee. Did think that £37.00 for breakfast and 2 coffees was very expensive. Lots of staff there but not sure if they had had bad news but not one smile the whole time I was there and one person kept pacing up and down by the table. I am generally quite generous with a tip but this place definitely didn?t deserve one. Good food but won?t return.

Love a trip along the M4 and great excuse to pull off at J15 for a cake and drink! Good service, lovely seating outside (in the sun today!) and friendly staff.....

Consistently good each and every single time. Fresh. Large breakfasts. A few steps up from anything you can get around town. We meet as a group once a month and everyone shows up whenever we go here versus some other places when half would show. Tasty. Options.

Bacon and cheese burger was absolutely delicious. The chicken Nachos were tasty but very dry even with extra sauce added. Friendly staff but the cafe was very noisy. Prices not bad considering the high prices in the farm shop.

We have been visiting this shop and cafe, both the original and the new building, for lunch every so often for some time as not far from home. Always excellent service and brilliant food, never disappointed. Can get crowded towards end of week so booking advised. Latest visit 27-9-23, ham, egg and chips, beautiful ham, loads of chips, lovely eggs and salad and short waiting time. Great coffee too. Visited in August with neice and young children, no problem. Outdoor seating if wanted. Farm shop adjacent selling smaller cottage business foods and other products, not supermarket stuff. Well worth a visit. Plenty of parking and several charging points. Worth diverting for a break if on M4 as only a few minutes drive from Junction 16 on road to Marlborough, last building on the right as you pass Chiseldon. Highly recommended. Three hours free parking, plenty for most people.

We stopped for coffee and snacks on our way to the Cotswolds, fabulous find. The queue for the cafe was large and it was very busy but we just wanted snacks do bought scotch eggs, sausage rolls, gluten free sausages and coffee. Lovely friendly staff in the shop, huge selection of delicious looking food of so many varieties. We didn?t have the coolbox with us or we would have bought so much more. Definitely one to visit again. Sadly was closed on Monday on our return or we would have stopped again

Overall an average breakfast. Bacon was lovely but the sausages were really hard and difficult to cut through. Beans had been sat around a while as if they were keep in a hot holding? Staff were pleasant enough but wouldn't rush back. Never got any toast with the farmhouse breakfast either, even after I was asked if I'd like white or brown bread.

This shop uses parking eye - an aggressive and sneaky organisation. Even though I was charging my car (and proved it) they chased me relentlessly for money. There are other nice farm shops and cafes. Find one that doesn?t use parking eye.

What a fantastic find,I didn?t fancy eating or getting food at a soulless service station and I searched for a cafe/restaurant off the M4 and found this.My sandwich was very tasty with a mug of tea!A welcome refreshment for a tired traveler.Nice views over the ridgeway as well. I will definitely come back here again

Lovely, airy cafe. Loads of car parking. Easy place to break a journey as it?s close to J15 of the M4.
