Christmas Day dinner went down a treat it was very very busy all the staff were rushed off their feet and there was a bit of a wait for tables it was Christmas Day so expected.
This being said some of the other guests may want to think about the way they speak to the staff who give up their time with their families to serve them on this day yes it?s expensive but we all chose to pay this, yes there was a wait it was Christmas Day for goodness sake

Im Not Eating Here at Christmas Day Again!!!
Myself and 3 other family members booked a table on Christmas Day at 14:15pm. We turned up a few minutes after this time and was told that our table was not quite ready and to go to the bar area and until a table becomes available. Thinking that we will wait 5 - 10 minutes for our table, we grabbed a drink at the bar and waited. 40 minutes went by, and still our table was not ready. We waited another 5 minutes before asking someone that works there if purtablenwas ready and finally it was.
At no point from the moment we sat down at our table, to leaving the restaurant 4 hours later, did a member of staff ask us if we needed a drink. Being fed up of waiting to be asked if we wanted one, we went up to the bar to buy our drinks.
Whilst waiting for our starter, we had 5 staff members come up to us asking what name the booking we made under and walk away. We continued waiting over 1 hour before we had our starter, which was a re-occuring theme as we waited over an hour in-between each course, aswell as being told everytime we asked when our food will arrive that it is being plated up.
They clearly over booked the restaurant, as all the staff were running around like headless chickens and one even limping back to the kitchen.
For an allocated time slot of 2 hours that we were allowed on the table, and being there for 4 hours or more, no apology was made. Once we have finished our desserts we got up and left, and didnt have our hot chocolate and minced pie that was part of the £64 Christmas Day meal, as we're were so fed up of waiting. At no part of the day was the food bad, but the rest of the day was a giant disappointment.

The Fish n chips wasn't great the fish was lukewarm.. the hot chocolate drink wasn't hot but lukewarm. Typical pub food and the menu on website was offering different price than the menu had to use in house.

Ordered drinks, just two cokes and these took 10 minutes to come, and that?s after having to chase them up.
The food took half an hour to come out after ordering??My friend ordered the 3 starters for 14.99, he ordered the potato dippers which came out as just chips with spring onion on top, calamari which was over cooked and looked more like pork scratching, and halloumi fries which looked like sweet potato, and tasted like fish!
I ordered the full rack of ribs however they immediately looked dry and overcooked. The ribs were that dry I could not even pull them apart!
We immediately complained and said we would be going elsewhere.
We went to the bar to pay for our drinks, and the manager/supervisor didn?t even offer an apology! This is very poor service, not to even acknowledge our complaint.
We won?t be eating at the Beafeater again, and certainly won?t be recommending it to friends or family.
