This place is an absolute gem for a Sunday roast! They offer an amazing selection of meats and a standout nut roast - which, by the way, was one of the best I've ever had. The nut roast had this fantastic mix of nuts and woodland mushrooms, and it wasn't dry at all. Every roast came with a ton of veggies, including carrot and potato mash, roast carrots, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, and massive, homemade Yorkshire puddings. The food was top-notch, super generous portions, and it honestly felt like Christmas dinner - that lovely over-full feeling afterwards! I'd totally recommend the Highworth - it's worth splurging on, every penny!

Nice hotel, good food. Reasonably priced for a hotel.
Parking at rear through very narrow arch, so wouldn't accommodate large vehicles.

Lovely listed building very well maintained but retaining period features. Rooms modern and very clean. This place is well looked after. Staff are really lovely, unobtrusive yet always present and available, hardworking, know exactly what to do, absolutely everything runs very efficiently. Food was absolutely world class, everything made to perfection. Great bar, outdoor gardens with sun shades. Big car park, the entrance is wider than it looks, plenty of space, Rooms are immaculate, would be very happy staying here again. Thanks for making my son's wedding so very special and memorable.

What an amazing experience we've had working Katy and her team at the Highworth to plan a 60th Birthday party for 150 people last night. The event ran smoothly, the bar service was great and the bar staff excellent. The food was superb and the venue beautiful...although most were in the garden all night! Thank you for making everything so special.

We visited the Highworth for lunch for my Grandma?s 80th birthday and were thoroughly impressed. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, they allowed us to decorate the table and they even gave us permission to bring our own cake, which they were happy to serve for us and provided plates & forks. They even lit the sparkler we had brought to put on the cake for us! They were also very attentive and answered all of our questions about the menu - a member of our party had a dietary requirement which they handled brilliantly. The food was absolutely delicious and also arrived very quickly. All in all the service and food were excellent and I highly recommend visiting!

We recently spent two wonderful nights in The Highworth during our travels. On checking in we were welcomed with warmth and friendliness in a charming reception area. Our room was large, spotlessly clean, beautifully finished and furnished and bright. Quiet too. The bathroom was very good, clean and large enough. We had two sound nights sleep in a very comfortable bed.
Breakfast was beautiful, the choice and quality of the foods available was top notch, the local butcher providing quality provisions for the cooked part.
Staff are very friendly, helpful and generous with their time.
We highly recommend a visit, be it to stay or dine. We will certainly plan it into future visits to the Cotswolds and south west.

Excellent venue for a private family function. Excellent range of buffet food for all, including vegetarians and vegans. The staff were very professional and could not do enough for us, especially Katy.

I?m local to the The Highworth but haven?t visited for brunch before- until today. It was absolutely magnificent. Beautiful food, tasty prosecco, great service and a lovely atmosphere in the sunny garden. I will definitely be back.
