A regular visit for us with a wide selection on specials board and the menu,I wish they had more varied, healthier options for myself, but they do offer homemade dishes. Service is always excellent and very friendly place. Booking recommended.

Food & Beverage onlyWe have been going to this pub for over 2 years now and it still remains a favourite. Given 4 stars for good pub food, ambiance and service.With a good selection of draught, beers, ales including one of the most diverse menus ive seen in a pub. We stayed one night here - lf you want comfort and essentials at a reasonable price, then this is for you. If you want luxury, then it's not, you get what you pay for.The rooms are tired and dated but they are clean and maintained as best they can be.The pub has lovely staff and great food. We had dinner and breakfast - both were delicious, presented well, great value for money and in a relaxed environment.Parking is plentiful - i didn't use the wi-fi or visit the surrounding area, so I can not comment, but if you're looking for somewhere to rest your head for anight or two, or a decent and reasonably priced meal, then i can wholeheartedly recommend the crown inn.
