So great to find a real pub in Swindon! Don't be put off by the Greene King sign. They have really great beers too.
A really pleasant atmosphere and lovely staff.

All the ales (and lagers) are thoughtfully chosen, always a great pub to do in to. Pls note the taster paddle is not for pickled ostrich eggs. Learn from my mistake

We stopped in at the Beehive on a recommendation from a local. We came from the USA and just got off the Queen Mary 2 in Southampton and wanted a cold beer in a relaxing pub. The Beehive does not disappoint! The pub has a great atmosphere and we loved it! The beers were great, the bartender full of great stories, and the ?barfly? has been there for 25 years! Even our B&B host said we happened into the best bar in Swindon! Wish we could have stayed longer! Will be back for sure!

This is an interesting local pub and must be rated according, this is not a young persons club or trendy wine bar, the locals come to socialise and have fun rather than to drink as much as possible.
I have visited several times now, the average age of the locals ranges from around 40 to 60 years old and the beehive caters very well for their regular customers, matching the music and drinks selection. On occasion they have live music, display local artists work and support community issues.
The beehive feels very much local community based, the feeling is that you are always welcome there even if you visit alone and the people are friendly even if you are slightly quirky yourself.
In its self it's a quirky little pub with a great selection of real ales on pump. Pictures of their customers on the wall and not to forget Maxine their resident mannequin that the locals greet.
The building of the beehive is a strange shape, this works in it's favour providing several areas that can be used as almost private booths containing a few tables each and a long but narrow bar area with bench seating.
There is no private car park but there is a large carpark a stones throw away at Regent Circus.
