The most unfriendly, dirty and under staff store that I been in my life.
Most of the staff are miserable , unhelpful and 0 customer
service. The rules of Tesco concerning the cues at the tills don't apply at this store here you can have 10 people wanting to pay with 1 open till. If you ask to a new till they simply ignore.
It's the only supermarket in town centre, and the products are overpriced.
If you can just avoid.

I only reluctantly visit this store because I don't have a car, and live locally. This uninspiring, miserable store definitely cash in on that too. Their prices are way higher than Tesco Extra, and their "deals" are still more expensive. I hate going here, but I don't have a lot of choice, unfortunately!
The staff are mostly rude, ignorant Indian people. Unless of course you are Indian yourself! This is a much witnessed observation.

Security in this place trying to intimidate PAYING CUSTOMERS, thinking we are shop lifters when we are paying for our items at the checkout. He needs to stick to his own job and not frighten the customers.

Never been inside a more depressing shop in all my life. The fruit is always bruised or smashed. Never completely ripe either. Bought some onions that were all rotten inside when I cut into them. I find better fruit and veg at Aldi at cheaper prices.
Terrible atmosphere as well. I remember the first time I went in here I witnessed someone shoplifting and the security guard chasing after him. Absolutely miserable. The only reason anyone willingly goes here is because everywhere else nearby closed shop. I guess that signals the future of this country. Jesus Christ.

Terrible experience . On 6th November ,I Went to the shop 20 minutes before closing and the staff came shouting to us saying they are closing and we need to leave.The time was 20:49 pm and we told them that we are going to check out after picking one more ,which would hardly take 30 seconds.Staff shouted and said you need to leave now as we are closing now.At the checkout the staff was really rude and told us to hurry up in an annoyed way.I understand that they need to close at 21:00 but they can give the customers polite reminder instead of shouting.We are their customers and every customer need to be treated respectfully.

No good for a quick shop. Lots of customers with 5 or less items and too few check outs. Last supermarket in town, need a bigger outlet.

Avoid this Tesco unless you have no other option. This store knows the fact it is the only major super market in the whole town center to old town area, and likes to take advantage of it's monopoly.
Most of the stock they keep is super overpriced. Moreover, they mostly sell old stock that is usually due to expire in a few days.
The conditions of the store are unhygienic, filthy and, frankly disgusting.
On top of that they have a set of staff who are very hostile, unprofessional, and terrible at doing their job(There are a few members of the staff who do their job but most of them are really bad). For no apparent reason, I had once been verbally abused by a member of the staff, who I think is named Christina. The staff also misplace any parcel that you get delivered there.
Tesco for some reason encourages this uncouth set of staff, and have been seeing the same people ever since I became a customer of this place. It seems that staff do not have to face repercussions for their actions.
They also employ a joke of a security guard who profiles people, and makes paying customers feel uncomfortable.
I have been a customer of this Tesco for around 2 years, and it is getting worse day after day. I am still a customer because I have no other option.
The council should launch an investigation into this Tesco.

Lots of rough people shop here, as it is the only supermarket left in the Swindon town centre area. Questionable pricing, and lots of barriers due to all the scruffy homeless stealing all the time.
The staff are nice

Terrible shop. It's the only supermarket in Swindon Town centre.It doesn't have any trolleys. How on earth are local residents supposed to shop hereAppalling and dangerous.
