Dreadful - broken glass & beer on the floor, alerted 5 members of staff who all mumbled that they'd do something about it & then ignored......

I have shopped at the Oxford road store for many years, it?s on my home stretch from work so I go there daily and spend £30/£40 per day, but unfortunately because of clearly bad management decisions I am now going there less and going to my second option Morrisons, I don?t like the shop but Sainsbury?s have over the years got rid of the facilities that I use, first disaster was the deli counter that you we?re served lovely meats and cheese by the lovely ladies that have now been dispatched to other ares in the store! The pizza counter is the final nail in the coffin, not to mention the cafe, I only go there now if i havent got time to drive to another shop, what a shame because out of every where I go I will miss the wonderful staff at this store, I?m really sad about that but got to go with what?s best, sorry Sainsburys you?re letting your customers and wonderful staff down

Abysmal service from Sainsbury?s travel money. Initially greeted by a man who couldn?t speak English, I couldn?t understand a word he was speaking. What a great place (changing money!) to put an employee which doesn?t speak English!! Then a woman sat next to him started chiming in. Whilst having a chilled conversation, of which I merely wanted to know why I had to give over my bank card and ID? Perfectly good request from a customer, She then went on to wind herself up something horrid to the point she was turning purple, I genuinely thought she was about to have a coronary bless her. I politely asked for her name, which she shouted ?Im Clare, THE MANAGER?. She the went on to shout I had to present and hand over my ID and bank card to change money so she could check my ID under the UV light? Have a day off ?Clare the manager?, you can read it through the clear glass, you don?t need to handle my property. In the end I managed to convince her to stop shouting and making a scene, to which she did and much to my amazement she apologised. So fair play for that ?Clare the manager? but in the future try to treat customers with a little more respect. I then took my money elsewhere to Sainsbury?s bridgemead and what a difference!! The lady was very helpful, explained everything calmly (as expected?) smiles all the way, she was truly a great employee. I believe ?Clare the manager? could benefit massively from heading over to bridgemead for some training off the employee there. I would expect politeness from a customer assistant let alone a manager. I understand we all have bad days, and therefor I was happy to accept Clare?s apology, but honestly ?Clare the manager?, you really do need to do better, you need to understand just because you have knowledge in said areas, it doesn?t mean customers do. The way you treat others in life speaks volumes about yourself, it?s not acceptable. I?d sit myself down and have a good chat about where I could improve if I saw your qualities in myself. No hard feelings ?Clare the manager?, try and stay calm, do better in the future and try your best to smile and have a great day.
