“These folks are extremely reliable and meticulous. They shipped a painting for me from England to Florida (US) and it arrived well-packed and safe from anything that FedEx could do to it if there were a mishap. And it arrived a day earlier than Mail Boxes estimated!”

“Love the banter when I go into the shop, makes me feel very welcome. I have been in when customers have been extremely rude and impatient with the staff. Unfortunately customers can be so nasty.”

“A larger post office which offers forms that smaller branches don't. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They don't rush you and are happy to discuss your options with you. A useful place to do your banking as there are a limited amount of banking options locally. Clean, tidy and organised.”

“There's two entrances one for picking up parcels which is on the corner off the building near the entrance for truck's to enter and the other is for the main building for office's and is easy to find.”

“Always have a positive experience at this delivery office :)Frustrated that there are so many bad reviews that aren’t even relevant to this location. The mind boggles!”

“I know people complain about the queues, but that’s not caused by the friendly staff. You need to consider the post office is next to a school, and that it is servicing a huge area of North Swindon.
We could all go to different post offices but we don’t because the Abbey Meads post office has a quicker pick up time…
The staff are working hard to get through the high demand of people…
People needing to post also wait until the either drop off or collect their kids from school, so of course queues are going up be long… They would be long in any area with such high demands at peak times!
Ideally, the Council should create an independent post office in Abbey Meads to support the demand… Have at least 5 cubicles to cover peak times instead of just 2…
Instead of people blaming the staff, they should be supporting them by demanding a bigger post office!
These people work very hard, and should be appreciated for their efforts. It must be very difficult having so many people arrive at the same time to post a parcel!”

“Staff is really polite and knowledgeable.Only the working hours are wrong. After hours mail can be sent through the Co-op counter, but often the person trained to do postage is not on shift / away and the rest of the staff are not trained. So just consider the regular working hours of the Post office - 9am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday, 9am till 1pm on Saturday and closed on Sunday.”

“Great staff, very friendly and helpful. I'm very grateful the town still has a real post office, even if it's occasionally on reduced hours, as otherwise I'd have to drive miles to find another.Thank you to the staff and to Tesco for keeping this open as banks and post offices close around the UK.”

“The staff and friendly and really helpful. Good range of merchandise for a local convenience store. Prices are competitive. The post office counter is great with its opening hours.”

“My 19 yr daughter wanted to post a parcel today at the Swindon WHSmith town centre 24/08/20 and wasn’t sure how to do it but she said the lady and gentleman that helped her (staff) were really nice. I would like to thank these two member of staff as you really made her feel at ease she suffers with social anxiety and was a bit worried she said she wishes she got their names now. But thanks you.”

“Never had a problem with this store, staff have always been friendly, not always got everything you want but then it's basically a corner shop. The "post office" bit is just a service within the store which is now a Morrison local (previously a McColls) There is a main post office a 10/15 min walk away so worth going to that one if you need a service they don't offer.”
