We lived in Spain for 10 years and this restaurant was a wonderful surprise. The food is fantastic and very authentic, the service is brilliant and the prices are fine. Very busy / buzzy place too when we went on a Thursday evening. Loved it, highly recommended.

Had a great meal on a late Saturday afternoon at Los Gatos. Good selection of tapas available at reasonable prices. Highlights for us were the cod in batter and the anchovies. The special of crab cakes was a very tasty addition, with a generous proportion of crab from the flavour. Service was responsive and very personable. As it was 16:15 I was quiet, not the restaurant fault as not many people want to eat at that time. Good selection of Spanish beers, wines and sherries available. Oh also two Spanish ciders on offer.
Kid-friendliness: We didn't have children but there were 3 families present with babies through to 6-7 years olds they were accommodated well.

What a waste of time and money. We booked a table on Saturday evening at 8.15. When we arrived we were sat next to a group of women who were so loud it sounded more like a strip club rather than a restaurant. None of the customers were happy, the staff kept giving each other funny looks yet no one bothered to ask them to keep it down. Food was served in batches which made it uncomfortable as we could not eat right away, it was not fresh or nice in fact just generic frozen food. Service was crap, no one asked once whether it was ok. Small cheap cutlery, finger prints on glasses and plates. No salt and pepper on the table, rather small and boring dessert. We left after an 1.5 and will never be back. So many better places to eat in Swindon!

Celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary here. The food was awesome, fresh tasting and reasonably priced. Staff were really nice and friendly. Definitely would recommend

"We arrived and the venue was chilly. We asked if heating was working, and they said yes, we had to keep our jackets on Great Start. Ordered dishes: 6 items: meatballs in a zesty sauce, 2 calamari, 2 shrimp, and paella. The spicy meatballs were bland, the sauce was lackluster, the shrimp were unremarkable, and the paella was all mush, with a piece of chicken on top, which was dry. Calamari was decent. Everything was disappointing; I will not be coming back."

Me and my mum came to Los Gatos for an evening birthday meal and were very happy with the service, quality of food and general ambiance of the restaurant. Greeted at the door by Tiago who subtlety let me know they had a small cake and ice cream for my mum which was a very pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated.
We started by ordering some sangria, the litre suggested my the lady waiter lasted us the evening and was delicious.
Then for food we had the: Calamares Fritos (Lf), Pulpo Gallego (Gf) (LF), Arroz con Pollo (GF), Croquetas del Dia and the Ensalada.
Thomas was the waiter who took our food, making lovely conversation and learnt a bit of Spanish from my mum too xD.
My mum being a little Spanish lady was quite satisfied with the quality and authenticity of the dishes.
Lastly came over some of the waiters to sing happy birthday with the desert which was very heartwarming to have, along with a shot of limoncello after that which was very head warming.
Out first experience at Los Gatos and definitely not our last. The number one spot in Swindon for Spanish food, I thank everyone who worked for making it such a special night for my mum.

Great ranges for meat and vegetarian eaters. The patatas bravas was our most surprising and least enjoyable dish...the sauce was separate n not to hot , so no bravas needed ?but overly powdery...10 hours later n tip of tongue is still powdery.
We ordered breads ( sourdough, fantastic, crusty n doughy, ) olives and 7 other dishes. Fabulous. Nothing over cooked. Everything arrived together. Staff friendly, attentive, not overly eager.

Absolutely beautiful food. The staff were amazing. Everyone spoke to us and asked if we were ok. Really couldn?t fault them. Definitely recommend!!

Early Saturday evening and first time in Los Gatos. Warm welcome and friendly service. Food obviously Tapas portions and great variety of menu. Service was prompt and food was delicious. Recommend for grazing meal with friends so you can share multiple dishes. Prices are good and seating arrangements are comfortable.

Great ambience, a busy buzz but not overcrowded. Fab service and lush food. Great paella, prawns and the croquette, they have flavour of the day, for croquet - ham was ours ?
