Bought an lg tv from the store. The staff were really helpful, because it was a return they explained the warranty etc. well, great service and its now always the first place I check when buy buying large ticket items, because the discounts are great! Only one downside is the telephone number is now 0345, so it costs more to check if they have a specific item in store. Not the fault of the store, but no doubt a head office decision to save money and reduce calls to the store. It?s a little thing but the store assistants were really helpful and knew what they had in stock, and when was best to pop in, so this change is a pitty.

Spacious, friendly, and even tho they hadnt got what I were looking for, as its an outlet there was plenty of items at bargain prices . I walked out buying a lamp, I wasnt needing lol

A little disappointed by the J L outlet. Basically you can find similar items in most John Lewis dept stores. My local JL always has red tickets items that are returns or old stock. This outlet just has a concentration of such items at the usual discount as far as I could see.
Good to see Apple at a discount though they were all discontinued products.
A good concentration of Android phones were available but I suspect returns as most were out of their boxes and on display.

I was looking for a coffee machine and the one I wanted wasn?t in stock.
The sales assistant was very helpful
Whilst I made a decision I decided to have a bite to eat in the cafe.
I found a male member of staff so rude to me after I tapped my chase bank card and it wouldn?t go thorough as unbeknown to me there?s a limit on contactless purchases
No problem as I used one of my other cards.
It was the huffing and attitude that upset me.
The guy had a beard and I couldn?t see his name tag.
I don?t expect this kind of thing at John Lewis or indeed anywhere.
At 66 I can choose where to eat and shop and I won?t return.

Amazing store, we brought a 77inch tv with a tiny mark on the frame that made it £1000 cheaper than anywhere else.
Wish I knew the sales lady's name as she was so friendly and helpful, and the guys from the warehouse that got the tv out of the box so we could see it.

A company that has staff who know what customer service is. Buying a coffee machine that already got 40% off and the assistant says, "I think I can get you some more", and comes up with a further 22.5% off. Amazing!!!

Seems to be a clearance outlet for end-of-range and discontinued items. If they have what you are looking for, great, but otherwise it can be very disappointing and sadly the main proper JL store in Swindon is permanently closed

I've bought things from John Lewis Outlet in Swindon many times, and the staff have always been lovely. However, last night, my partner discussed a couple of items we wanted with the manager on duty(another couple also wanted these, but we were there before them), and she let slip that his accent could've been the problem. That's why she went with the other couple. He's Irish, for the record. We have felt uncomfortable a couple of times with this manager, who seemed to watch us like hawks compared to other couples in the store. This kind of discriminatory behaviour is unwarranted. I didn't realise we still had adults who judged people on accents and appearance.Who are you employing, John Lewis??? I'm appalled and will speak to the Head office regarding this lady.
