What a pleasant shopping experience. I popped in as I wanted to view the sofa that I'd set my heart on online. However, I wasn't sure if it'd fit in the intended area of our room. Adam was fantastic! I'd approached him to ask for help (that's another positive regards my experience, as gone are the days of multiple sales people rushing at you the second you enter a store ) I gave him the measurements and also explained that I wanted a durable material as we have pets. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he showed us various options and also explained why my original choice was not going to fit. He was patient & knowledgeable and didn't rush us. Honestly, I hate shopping for furniture but he made the whole experience so relaxing and easy. We settled on the Freya, and placed our order. Adam, thank you so much making our new purchase stress free & your people skills are perfect. I hope your Manager realises what an asset you are to the showroom.

when I went in, everybody was very friendly and happy to help me pick a sofa but since ordering the Service and customer care has been awful and I?ve been lied to a multiplications by different agents ordered my sofa on the 21st of May to arrive on the 28th of August. They now told me it may be in the local warehouse on the 5th of October all in all I?ve waited six months for a sofa and nobody can give me a straight answer if it?s even been made in August months after I made my order i am now not being called back and having to chase them on there error the Manager is rude and dismissive very unhappy and wouldn?t buy from them again

We had a great experience today at DFS where we were attended by Mrs. Zina and she was very attentive and explained many things to us. We were happy.

Went in and no one approached us. Staff were literally led on the sofas looking at their phones, even while we were looking around. Had to ask one of them if they worked there? ? Then had to ask them if they?d help us!! They then helped, but whilst looking at the options given for the size we could fit, they told us a couple of them were upstairs and said to find them again if we needed help! Hilariously appalling customer service. I know it?s the same parent company, but i?d just go to Sofology next door. They were helpful, gave us drinks and loads of advice!

Came into Swindon DFS to look for a new sofa for me ans my partner. As we walked in, no one greeted us and we waited nearly 20 minutes to see if anyone would help. We went to look for someone for them to be sat down. One of the people who worked there saw me and partner waiting to then just being ignored. I?m sorry but it?s band out of order. Will never buy a sofa from them. So rude.

The whole process of buying from Furniture DFS was a comfortable and stress-free adventure. The help and advice from salesman, Adam was invaluable. clear and concise. We were delighted to hear we would be receiving our furniture in under 4 week . Can't Wait to Get IT

Abysmal.
Ordered a sofa in September, with delivery "guaranteed for Christmas". Got a delivery date of 17/12. On 15/12, got a 3 hour timeslot, confirmed on 17/12. Delivery slot was missed and after chasing it turned out that they hadn't even received the sofa! So a day's annual leave completely wasted due to DFS's incompetence.
Had to constantly chase up. Delivery rescheduled for 28/12, but no timeslot given as "manual deliveries cannot have a given timeslot" (had to chase to discover this). Waited from 7am-5pm for a call, then chased again. Turned out that the driver was expecting to collect rather than deliver.
Just appalling all round. Appalling customer service, lack of communication, disinterest all round, Christmas massively disrupted and no one prepared to just get on and sort anything out.
Cancelled and went elsewhere. Will never use again (or Sofology - same company).
Would have given zero stars if possible.

We had such a great experience today at DFS Swindon. Bristol and Longwell Green are closer to us but the staff in Swindon were exceptional. Thank you Adam for a wonderful experience today and we can't wait to receive our sofa and chair ?

As we entered there was a couple making a complaint about furniture that had been delivered to them and it didn't seem to be going well. We carried on looking around the shop, it was clean, bright and airy but we didn't find what we were looking for. After the assistant had finished with the complaining couple he came to us, but his approach was apathetic. We felt like he had a take it or leave it attitude and we soon left. I did order from dfs via telephone which was very efficient and uncomplicated.
