This hotel was chosen as was close to my destination but also the facilities were conducive to my preferences. There is a pool and gym to be used but charged extra. The breakfast is an extra £10 if not in the rate. You can get that at reception but do it before they charge you £15 in the restaurant.

Had to meet some friends who were staying at the hotel and went there for a light bite. Thought £12 for a salmon sandwich with a small side salad and crisps was a bit over the top I must admit.
Also plates left on table for an hour before I had to ask someone to remove them. Not the waitress fault, just the training theyve been given I would have thought.

We have been returning to Blunsdon for approaching 35 years with different generations of our family, since I was 10 years old. Back once again with our three kids and we have had a great time as always. Good food, that caters well for coeliac, a lovely hotel, lots of swimming and tennis and nice to have a hotel that can accommodate rooms for a family of 5. Thanks once again

Afternoon tea was absolutely shocking today for my mum?s birthday definitely not good value for money and very rude and abrupt staff.
Disappointing as this was so nice in previous years.

We stayed here for a night in April 2025. Reception were nice and friendly, room was reasonable and fairly spacious and the bathroom was lovely. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed our meal and drinks. Garden area was nice to sit in, but that afternoon/evening it was very windy so we opted to go back inside. Restaurant/bar area is pretty large with an entertainment room for children. Breakfast was held in another dining area, breakfast was buffet style and is typical of English breakfast offerings of hot food, continental breakfast and cereals and fruit etc. The only negative was the mattress as we could feel the springs in the mattress, we are very fussy with our mattress as husband works in the trade. But this mattress in particular the springs weren?t great, we did feed this back and received and apology. Hopefully they?ve looked at sprung mattresses and have upgraded what needed to be upgraded. Overall we enjoyed our experience and would go back

Beautiful location. Room was lovely. Leisure suite was great and carries food was amazing! My little brother was obsessed with the fish tank. Magical.

Afternoon Tea was fantastic at this place, but service was very poor. Had a reservation for 12, arrived less than 10 minutes late and the waitress abruptly looked at her watch. She then sat us down, asked what drinks we wanted and then came back with a card machine before the drinks arrived and said ?sorry can you pay now?. Phoned up the hotel explaining that it made us feel unwelcome and was given nearly every excuse of why it happened.
I had a reservation for this giving my details and offered payment over the phone as it was a very special occasion! Process should have been to take payment at the bar before sitting us down and wasn?t followed. Really has given me a negative view of the hotel
