Nice waiting staff, they do everything right but the food that is served is not good ,I ordered some gnocchi with truffles oil and some fries with truffle but was very disappointed, no sauce or taste , vote 3

Tonight was another terrible meal. Wrong meal brought initially so had to wait for them to cook it again. My daughter finished hers and had to wait for me to get mine. Avoid the Penne 4 cheese pasta. Tasteless and swimming in oil. Consisted of penne pasta with a handful of cheese mixed in. Certainly not 4 cheeses. Maybe a poor quality mild cheddar. Ate a few forkfuls only as it was so bad. Always a shame as it?s a lovely setting but the food lets this place down.

I was really disappointed with my recent visit to your restaurant. Every salad I ordered, including the duck breast salad, was served extremely cold. It completely took away from the flavors and overall experience. I expected much better quality, especially with a dish like duck breast. I hope you can address this issue for future customers.

Waited 30 minutes in a queue for a drink before the fireworks on 3rd November; we were next in line only for them to shut the bar down with no warning telling us to "Queue again after the fireworks". After the fireworks, the queues were already much longer than even before. Didn't even bother getting drinks.
They said it was "out of their control" which sounds to me like awful management. I do not blame the servers at all. Dissapointing, hopefully the manager can give much more advanced warnings in future or a priority for those they turn away? Do better.

Exceptional food and drinks and service. During our family visit we had 1 4-cheese pizza, 1 street food pizza, 1 Parmesan fries, 2 fish and chips, and 2 cheeseburger meals. Exceptional hot, delicious, filling food with large portions.
Amazing service from the waitress and waiters, offering a great wait time in between starters and mains, as well as cold water and clean glasses and cutlery.
Overall a great warm atmosphere with high quality decor. Highly recommend and will be back soon!!

It was an OK pub to start, with friendly staff and nice drinks but by christ could you tell when the shifts changed! They couldn't fulfill a simple pizza order, mixing up the only 2 tables in the room and when notified became rude alongside a bad attitude, basically blaming us for 'accepting" the pizza. The other table were treated to free drinks while we were treated like criminals for their mistake. Mistakes happen, that's fine, it's how you deal with them. Take ownership, apologise and make it right. Maybe Lauren should have some training on front of house customer service or get another job away from public!

Ordered meal, arrived without key ingredient. Ask where it was and they never came back to us! Meals came out 15 mins apart as ordered wrong, waitress ignored us. Manager apologised and managed situation well, however left us feeling extremely underwhelmed with customer service and food. Would not recommend or return sadly.

Very disappointed with visit today.
Took my elderly parents out for coffee as it was my mums birthday ?
We ordered 3 hot chocolates and one coffee. £17.00!!! Rip off for such small cups, plus the hot chocolate was cold .we sent them back and the lady said she'd make fresh ones .these also arrived cold . We returned them and one was hot and one cold again. This time we returned it and requested a coffee. This was ok .
Not an enjoyable experience fir my parents or myself, can get better quality and quantity else where

A quiet lunchtime meal. Fast service and soft drinks for drivers, a good price. 3 of us ate and portions were generous even for a child's burger. Hot food which came out together. Tuna steak on a salad nisoise, children's burger and a lamb burger.
