Our family are in Wiltshire for one week and we have eaten at The Pelican three times because we love it so much. The food has all been perfectly cooked, tasty and good value for money. The staff are very friendly and welcoming to us all and the dog.

Very local and traditional pub food. Good service! You can play dart for free. Food serves hot and tasty. Will definitely go again.

We came here last week (16th July).
Food is reasonably priced. Delivered on quality and was very good.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Loved the country music.

This place offers a basic stay. Sadly the pub was closed when we arrived so no good availability and they no longer offer breakfast which is a shame and meant we had to go on search the next morning. It's a cheap, no frillscroom for a stop over but I wouldn't recommend a longer stay. No soap in the bathroom which to me is a big no go.

Very helpful, very friendly. Beer was very nice and reasonably prices. We were not able to eat as kitchen closed early due to abnormal weather, but looking forward to coming again and trying the food.

Stopped off here for a cool drink on a hot afternoon! Easy access and handy carpark!! 250yrs old with lots original features!! Great atmosphere! Sat in large quiet garden at the rear! Very friendly staff on the bar!

Such a lovely place to stay. The staff are always so helpful. We were delayed on the way down so I called to let them know that we probably would not arrive until after 9pm. Not a problem, there was a young lady who helped us get settled and,as we had missed the last sitting for dinner, gave us some flyers for fast food who delivered. The room was clean and extremely confortable. The shower was clean and had terrific force. 10 out of 10, I cannot wait to return.

Lovely pub with a classic pub menu and friendly service. Guinness on tap and also dog friendly! We were a group of seven, including one lactose and one gluten intolerant, whose needs were brilliantly catered for. Would definitely visit again ??

Bar staff very friendly as always - chatty and helpful. Very helpful with what drinks were included in with the specials for that day. meal great and great value as always. We always bring friends and family here when they are visiting or staying

Excellent accommodation overall. The walls are thin between rooms but that can?t be helped. Loved the meal, a beautifully cooked burger and chips, best of British comfort food. Lovely staff and good clean room with wonderful shower. Pity the wireless is on the roof but again that might be unavoidable. Would certainly stay there again.

Nice friendly country pub with rooms.
Good food served every night. Be aware that that stop serving food quite early and the night I was in shut the bar around nine.
The room was pretty big. The bed was comfortable. The shower room was a reasonable size but the show cubicle was small. However there was plenty of hot water at a decent pressure.
The room had what may once have been a kitchen area was a full size fridge which was a little noisy and felt unnecessary.
All very clean. Ample parking. No breakfast available.
Overall a very pleasant stay. Thank you.
