We have a family member who has bought a bespoke kitchen from wickes. And I can honestly say how rubbish wickes have been. It?s been a mess from start and I?d liked to say finish but it?s not finished yet. The fitting people turned up and the kitchen hadn?t even been delivered. Wickes originally gave them the wrong plans so they had done all the plumbing for the wrong fitting. The measurements (that wickes came out and done) were wrong and the cupboards didn?t fit so it needed changing. It took about 3-4 weeks to fit a 12 unit kitchen. They were left without being able to use the kitchen in that time frame. From the fitting team finishing the kitchen they have now had to wait another month for worktops. And have had to chase the fitters themselves because wickes haven?t been bothered to chase this. They?ve now been told that the fitters are fitting another kitchen and they won?t be able to fit the worktops for another couple weeks. So it will be 8 weeks in with no kitchen.
We have bought a lifestyle kitchen from them ourselves and it?s taking them about 6 different deliveries to get one unit right for us.
Won?t be recommending wickes to anyone absolutely appalling.

On a wider retail park, access to Wickes is just off a roundabout. Large car park shared with The Range. Generally tidy and clean. Trolleys are available under a trolley cover. The entrance has special offers and across the store there are good stock levels. There are staff wondering around and those I spoke to were friendly and knowledgeable.

Do not use this company.
We had a Wickes kitchen designer come and measure up and all seemed fine. Well, it does when they take your order and your money.
From there things went downhill. We were informed that the installation could take place a month from the order to be then informed after paying that the order would be installed six months down the line.
Luckily we were given an independent fitter who saved the whole project and fitted us in on time and who I will not name here and will review separately ? they were fabulous and saved us on numerous occasions.
Wickes were terrible from poor customer service, refusing to fulfil your consumer rights to return items no longer needed as part of the order, measurements taken incorrectly, parts missing..I could go on.
The last point is the best one of all. In the end our fitter had to order the parts off his own back and have delivered to his store.
An original estimate of three weeks fitting extended out to seven weeks with the missing parts.
