I went to travel Perkins today at 11:45 to be treated by a man at the door with his keys it in asking what I was after I explained I need some wood for some shelving he told me that I had left it abit late, I did explain that google said they were open until 12 which he confirmed to be correct. I explained what size of timber I needed which he said they wouldn?t have I did ask can?t I buy more than one piece of wood from then he sighed at this point I had enough of his huffing and attitude towards me and went else where.
If you want a staff member to rude and stroppy towards you this is the place to go!

Liam at Travis Perkins today was great, I called him at 11:50 on Saturday (shut at 12), to make an order and that I was stuck in traffic but should be with him by 12 hopefully. He had everything waiting for me to load straight in the van with him and 2 of his colleagues with a forklift.

Had a lovely driver deliver my things however I wasn't impressed at having to help unload and carry 2 6x6 fence panels and 2 concrete gravel boards across the road and down the drive. Being female and not being well it was a struggle but we managed. I think it's a bit much to expect this from a customer especially with no forward warning.

Went to the counter, was completely ignored by 3 members of staff for 5 minutes.. then left. Absolute joke of a merchant, I would say worst customer service ever received however I didn't recieve any. Maybe its because my small company doesn't have the buying power of larger ones hence being ignored, maybe people are just ignorant.. either way I advise anyone reading this to use someone else for their building mercant needs
