We have just been for Sunday lunch and I am so disappointed with the food and service. We are local and have enjoyed coming to the new Inn on many occasions but today we are very disappointed. Our lunch arrived and we waited 10 Minutes before we asked if we were getting any vegetables. By this time our main meal was cold. It was taken away and I?m assuming was microwaved because the mint sauce was still on my husbands dinner. My beef was tough and inedible, presumably due to it being microwaved. When we finished after 25mins we asked for the bill, no none asked if we wanted pudding or coffee or indeed if our meal was ok. I left all the beef and potatoes as they were both tough.
All in all a very disappointing service and Food.

What a fantastic find, such an old worldly place with limbered ceilings and low doorways. A gem with some usual tap beers and a few real ales available. Staff were friendly and polite. Mixture of stone and wooden flooring. Nice and cosy place with bare brickwork also. Loved it. Beer was good and at a reasonable price. Enjoyed my visit.

Me and several of my over 18 friends had our valid IDs confiscated of us. ABSOLUTE JOKE. We weren?t asked to show our IDs when actually buying drinks but when it turned 10pm they decided to come round and check and out of a group of 5, 3 of us had our valid IDs confiscated. (Not to mention serval friends from another group aswell) The reasoning for mine being taken was I had a fringe in my photo - ARE YOU BEING SERIOUS? Clearly don?t want young people drinking there and are trying to unfairly dissuade us from coming.

The food and the atmosphere here was great. We walked in without a booking, party of 7, and we're welcomed. Food came quickly and was delicious.

Super tasty burger, one of nicest I've had for a long time.
Me & GF stopped by here for first time while in the nice area of Salisbury and couldn't fault anything.
We both ordered the Angus burger & both said how lovely the meat was. The chips were so good too with a fab seasoning.
I had a couple of pints of the really nice cloudy lemon cider too.
The pub is in a really nice old type setting & nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly as well.
We'll definitely return here again next time we are in town.
