I had paid £100 to reserve an area for my partner's birthday. Whilst we were given the rear of the venue, the tables were separated and not pre arranged for our party, numbers of which I had previously confirmed. The tables were not clean for our arrival. Pre ordered drinks took a long time to be served. Other people were coming into our reserved area and sitting. When our drinks were served (3 buckets of beer), the bottles were warm. We were left to our own devices - no one checked on us during our time and considering I had to pay £100 for the reservation and had no choice but to spend at the venue that evening, I was disappointed.

Modern looking bar with wooden floors throughout. Usual tap beers and a great selection of real ales and craft beers. Staff were friendly and polite. A wheelchair friendly place adjacent to the river Avon. Had a small patio area at the front. Guinness was amazing. Nice and chilled afternoon. Enjoyed my visit.

Called in mid-afternoon for a couple of beers and a game of pool. We were the only customers in there as the place had contractors everywhere doing the electrics or something.
Not all of the beers were available and seemed expensive. The pool table was £1.50 which is the most expensive I've ever seen.

I really like coming here to watch the rugby, it's great that they show it and it's usually a great atmosphere when a game is on!
Unfortunately this is the second time now where I have booked in advance, turned up and not had a table. The same guy twice now has dealt with it, unfortunately been quite rude about it. Essentially said they never received the booking and just shrugged. I understand its not his fault but don't like being treated as though it's mine! A better booking system needs to be in place I think!

Absolutely appalling service at The Bridge Tap. We booked their bottomless brunch months ago, had it confirmed, and even found our name tag on the table when we arrived. But they refused to honor the booking! No legitimate reason given, they were clearly understaffed and just rambling. Coming up with extraordinary excuses to refuse service. Being short-staffed is no excuse for being rude and dismissive. They clearly don't care about customer service. Avoid this place if you want a reliable and pleasant experience.

FALSE ADVERTISING AND VILE SERVICE??
I had booked a bottomless brunch table of 4 with a tiny dog and which I disclosed on booking.
Having been there multiple times with said dog, which has never been an issue before, we were appalled to have service refused after having been sat waiting for over 15 minutes.
I received daily emails reminding me of our booking but no notice of any issue with our dog. They claimed to have emailed me about it but continued to remind me about my booking, never bothering to call me in advance. Having traveled a distance for a birthday celebration we were left utterly disgusted by the rude and aggressive server who eventually graced us with her presence, only to refuse to take any orders and tell us that the chihuahua wasn?t welcome unless we ordered food and drink for her! They then said lunch could be served to us ?if we got rid the dog? - encouraging us to leave our dog tied up outside in the scorching July sun!
The building was packed and extremely loud and our table had been shoved in a corner, it is clear they had overbooked and the staff were visibly upset and sweating behind the bar. I believe that they used the dog as an excuse to get rid of us to ease the workload.
Had they just said they?d overbooked, we would have been disappointed but understood. Instead we were given nonsensical reasoning to leave and our deposit was not refunded.

We?ve done a number of bottomless brunches at the bridge tap and have been always had a nice time. We booked two weeks in advance for my birthday and a deposit was taken. On the booking we advised we would have a dog with us. When we arrived today, we waited fifteen minutes for a waiter or waitress who then advised us they couldn?t do the bottomless brunch because we had a dog with us. The dog (who is 2 kilos and quiet) has always come us before and when questioned they confirmed it was a dog friendly premise. When we asked what the problem was, we were told the dog could not partake in the bottomless brunch so the booking had to be cancelled! They said their policy was that no dogs or children could be part of a bottomless brunch. In reality they were overbooked and understaffed and came up with a ridiculous reason for cancelling our brunch. A real shame when it was for a special occasion. The cherry on top was that they said they couldn?t refund our £20 deposit for 3-5 days as it had to go to head office. Ridiculous.

Went with friends and we loved the place! Bottomless brunch is something that you need to try if you haven't, go with friends and have a great time.

Sticky tables, empty glasses left on table. Won't be going again.

If you?re ever at The Bridge Tap and you?re lucky enough to be served by Taylor, you?re in for a top-tier experience.
Taylor isn?t just pouring drinks ? they?re setting the vibe. Friendly, fast, and always on point, Taylor manages to balance professional service with genuine charm. Whether it?s remembering your drink order like a mind reader or cracking the perfect joke at just the right time, Taylor brings the kind of energy that turns a casual drink into a great night out.
Even when the bar is packed, Taylor keeps it moving with calm confidence. No fuss, no fluster ? just smooth service and a great attitude. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in every interaction.
The Bridge Tap already has a lot going for it ? solid drink selection, good music, and a welcoming atmosphere ? but Taylor is the kind of bartender who elevates the entire place.

Dan, what a shambles of service, no smile, no people skills, very defensive.
Absolutely shambolic bartender for such a great pub. Worst bartender in 10 years of visiting this pub.

What more could one desire than sticky floors dirty glasses, slow service, no atmosphere and sub spoons level food.
Wouldn?t come back if you paid me ?
