Had dinner here.
You can order food over an app, ready to collect if staying in the shepherd Huts and tents across the road.
Food arrived quickly.
I can imagine that it could be different at busier times as there's adequate parking (even for coaches)

Charming little pub and accommodation that we stayed in while visiting Sonehenge. Great people and a nice rural room.

Everytime we camp for the solstice and visit Stonehenge we stay close to this pub as the starting point. Beautifully decorated with paintings of the world famous Stonehenge, inviting staff and plenty of seating for eating meals or just for sitting with friends having a few drinks. Outdoor seating area with a converted bus for kids play area, another garden area with benches and a scale model of Stonehenge. Food was very good with not much of a wait with a very good traditional pub menu.

Just got back from a overnight stay, we had a family room, bunk beds and a double bed, and had a Shepherds hut..
The shepherds hut, absolutely beautiful... Couldn't fault it at all. My mother in law stayed in there with my little boy, she loved it ..
The man who greeted us at the bar was super friendly, very polite and helpful, couldn't fault him at all!!! He couldn't do more for you! Brilliant service by him. The bar and restaurant area looked lovely. Very smart.
There were just a few things that need looking at, obviously the value for money is great . But with these small touches changed, it would be perfect!
We were upstairs, room 9 (family room) paid around £70.. Unfortunately there were a few issues, no TV remote(we got a spare one from the bar, but that didn't work either).. someone had pinched it ?...
- No plug socket where the bedside table is, so you couldn't plug in the lamp? Very odd as it was placed there?
- The shower curtain needs replacing, had mould on the bottom of it, also all the silicone in the shower needs redoing, very dirty.
- New pull cord for the bathroom light, it's dirty.
- The bathroom bin needs a lid
- Bathroom window had a bit of wood holding it open, would look alot better if it was fixed.
- New pillows, very lumpy.
And a good hoover everywhere, wasn't the cleanest carpets.
Breakfast....there is no breakfast available in the morning, again the lovely man from the bar the night before, told us to grab whatever we wanted, boxes of cereals, milk etc, which we did... But we didn't realise that we couldn't go down for breakfast or coffees in the morming, had to have it in your room. As the pub area was closed. Would have been nice to have a area to meet up with friends/ family for breakfast. Totally our fault as we should have asked. Apart from a few things, it's a lovely place to stay and location is brilliant. We would return, hopefully these few issues can be addressed.
Thankyou to the kind man who greeted us and made us feel at home.

I read different reviews and understand that everyone has their own perspective ? and that?s fair.
We personally enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the family room, which was budget-friendly, spacious, and clean. The bathroom was also large and tidy.
Yes, you can sometimes smell food through the windows, but since there?s a pub downstairs, it?s perfectly understandable.
Some people might not like the interior or atmosphere, but it?s important to remember that this is not a new building. It?s a historic place, and you can definitely feel the charm of the past, with touches of English tradition and a bit of modern comfort. Perhaps the owner can tell you exactly how old the building is.
There?s no breakfast included, but coffee is available in the room at any time. Knowing this in advance, you can bring your own breakfast (like croissants), or find a place nearby to eat in the morning.
We especially loved the double-decker bus converted into a soft play area ? my toddler didn?t want to leave!
So, if you come with a positive mindset, you?re likely to have a lovely stay.

It?s just a pub in an island of astroturfing, which gives an impression of surviving against the odds. It?s a solid 1 star from me for having an artwork of Nigel Farage up in the toilets.

Stopped off when we visited Woodhenge. Had a drink outside in a lovely little seated area. There is something for everyone, a massive red bus filled with soft play for kids.
The food smelt and looked great , I wished we'd had some. Amazing art on the walls, definitely worth a visit if you love Stonehenge ?
