“Going into a shoe shop with service & knowledge of the products made a change. Plus they seemed to stock the ranges I'd seen on the internet so plenty of choice. It was worth the journey.”

“Popped in late Saturday evening with my mum and the two ladies working could not have been more helpful. They went above and beyond to try and find a coat for her. Wish I’d got their names - they are definitely a credit to Joules :) Thank you.”

“Just wanted to say a massive thankyou to the manager and staff in the Salisbury store. Had a few problems with my steve madden trainers breaking over the last year and they've been fantastic. So helpful, even helping through the struggles of finding our lost receipt. Great customer service every time, always smiling and welcoming when we walk in to store. The store is also always immaculate and looking great and has a good selection of shoes.”

“I have recently been looking for the right pair of shoes to go with my tailored suit … Without a doubt I had come to the right place. I was warmly greeted by Aurora who couldn’t have been more knowledgeable and helpful. I showed her the colour of my suit and was shown a range of shoes that would go with it and as soon as I saw the Larch range I was sold. This is my first pair of Locke Shoes and due to the outstanding customer service I received it won’t be the last. Thank you.Ben”

“A phenomenal and unexpected service from Lisa at Next Salisbury.

I went in a month ago searching for a suit for my wedding in Malaga in September and was expecting the usual ‘don’t really care cos I’m paid by the hour regardless’ staff, luckily that couldn’t be further from the truth. Next like a lot of highstreet stores is typically viewed as a place you go, try on and buy off the shelf kind of company with as little to no interaction as possible. Being British, the slightly more reserved culture, where you don’t want to disturb or inconvenience someone, usually kicks in when you go to a store so this also aligns with my preconceived thoughts. I walk in and start looking at colours and this lovely lady, Lisa, comes over and asks if I need assistance. Not having a clue what I was looking for, she takes the reins. Not only does she assist in what colour, style and theme I was trying to achieve but also she knew the exact size I was before even asking. It turns out she’s worked for Next for 30 years and was a professional suit tailer in years gone by. What an absolute find!

Over the course of an hour and 15 minutes Lisa told me what did and didn’t work and as I was finding the suits for 5 others, she swiftly located all the requested sizes and ordered these to a store more local to me. I left and phoned my wife to be and said how unusual it was to find such customer service here in the UK. Fast forward 28 days, 2 of the garments didn’t fit the other members of the party and I then had to replace these. One of them was in store so no problem. The other was a size 48L jacket which was unavailable on their system. Not only was it unavailable at the store, online it was unavailable too. A bit of an issue as if that didn’t fit we’d have to change the whole colour scheme to account for that size. In comes Alison. Alison and Lisa (dream team) now Individually check each store from Southampton to London, Liverpool to Bath and spend hours on the phone trying to locate this jacket. Not only that but a waist coat which wasn’t in stock either. I left the store hopeful but not confident. Fast forward a couple of hours and I get a call saying that both have been found and are being sent by courier to arrive the following week. Phenomenal customer service, truly went the extra mile and an all round unmatched experience.

Will I use Next in the future? Yes.

Will I choose this outlet over any other? Yes.

Will I recommend this store to anyone I meet? Yes.

Thank you ladies for a very memorable experience. I’ll drop by after the big day to show you pictures.

Lucas.”

“Always super friendly staff and a wide range of shoe styles available. Unfortunately not a lot suitable for kids with narrow feet. But so many lovely shoes at a fantastically reasonable price and anything they don't have in stock they cabln order in to store or to your home with free delivery”

“Yes the cafe serves predominantly people of a certain generation but we are not too precious to come here for afternoon tea after walking all around town. We got the coffee walnut cake and the chocolate cake, both delicious and they took away the residual taste from a poor pub lunch elsewhere. Wife got the Brazilian single origin Americano coffee with liquid cream on the side as she likes it so we were happy to take the weight off our feet. Did a little shopping as well as there’s a much bigger range than in Australia. Finally you can always find a reasonable free toilet in M and S, a bonus for we tourists, and quite unlike the experience in France”
