Would have preferred to email store but no contact given. 13/7/25 P.M. I bought Addis 3arm rotary airer from Salisbury. Assured by young gentleman it came with ground fixing. On opening pack ground fixing = instruction to dig hole 20cm square and 50 cm deep then concrete in. I suspected this from item labels but assured otherwise. Meant I had to nip to Caxtons of Fordingbridge (nearer) for ground spike next day. Waste of time. Airer OK and shop usually good in my limited experience.

My friend and I bought three heaters from this shop, but unfortunately, all of them stopped working without any reason. Given this experience, I seriously doubt the quality of the products. I definitely won?t be coming back to buy a heater again, as it doesn?t make sense to invest in something that fails so quickly. The heating performance was poor, and after just two weeks, all of them stopped working.

I was made extremely uncomfortable due to being followed aisle by aisle by one of your staff. I merely popped in to pass time while waiting for a friend and therefore had to keep checking my phone for the time. I was horribly judged on this and I felt violated. I was going to come back and buy some things that caught my eye but because I had an awful experience, that won't be happening. I'd much prefer to support local businesses but it looks like I will turn to Amazon to buy things I saw in your shop. At least I don't get judged there.

Went into Salisbury branch this afternoon to purchase a water filter jug. As it wasn't out on display I took it to the counter and asked if it could be opened. I thought it was a glass one but it was a new style plastic. I was still undecided when the assistant said, can you keep your hands off it if you're not going to buy it. Never in all my 50 years of being in retail have I ever heard those words uttered until today. The other two staff members just looked on. I always try and support Salisbury local shops, even if it's means paying for parking but I have now just ordered the same item on line. Customer service was nil today Robert Dias.

Unfortunately i had a very bad and embarrassing experience today 21/04/24 around 12.30 during a purchase of Daewoo Airfryer.I really felt embarrassed as the sales lady was arrogant and almost shouted at me infront of other customers for not consulting with them before opening the box of the airfryer which was allready in opened condition,I feel the same was opened for me two days back by another friendly, professional and customer oriented lady staff as the same model
Was not on display inside the shop.I understood my mistake and apologised to her same time,but she was not at all impressed with me and repeatedly cursing at me for my behaviour, I felt really awkward as other customers also watching the entire scene,i felt really embarrassed as felt shes rude to me just because am an Indian, same was conveyed to her and the other staffs,also i adviced her to be calm and friendly with your customers,she acted rude to me for the same.I told her i came today with my wife to purchase the same item and just compared the same with other make in display.
Another decent and matured sales guy approached me and apologised me and done the billing(staff no 903050), the arrogant lady was available near the till and was even yelling at me,i told her to be fair and customer friendly and she answered me that she knows her job.I told her that i was also a sales colleague at Curry's PC World and i know how to be true professional sale guy as we are representing a group or brand.Really felt bad with this annoying experience and i will never visit or purchase anything from this shop.Truly speaking shes really a negative aspect to your organisation and other staffs.

Went in to buy a packet of screws for £3.50. Unfortunately I bought the wrong screws, my mistake. Went back with the opened pack, asked if they would replace. Was told flatly no because the packaging was open.Not sure if the man I spoke to was making a decision on the spot or whether that's Robert Dyas policy but either way, expensive and unhelpful means I won't be back. Best to go elsewhere for home and hardware needs.

Staff are usually very good but today I purchased 4 sauspans, was I offered a bag, no, I had to ask and then pack them myself as I don't think the young chap had a clue. I don't think he wanted to be there as he didn't seem to enthusiastic.

Avoid this shop if you care about your time!I came to buy a Black and decker cordless vacuum reduced from £44.99 to £29.99, after taking it to the counter, I was advised that the price was more than advertised. I was then refused the sale at the advertised price. The assistant manager was meant to come down to assist the customer assistant but refused to. I had asked to speak to the manager in question but was kept waiting for over half an hour as he was on the phone.I am highly disappointed with the customer service here and will be advising my friends and family to shop elsewhere as the management clearly do not care about the customer satisfaction.
