A terrible experience. Very dirty, no AC, no elevator. Staff made no attempt to help. Avoid this location.

Hotel is fine but the restaurant is rubbish! run out of BEER!! very limited menu!
We use Premier Inn a lot! this has to be th worst one yet! due to the restaurant.
Food arrived, I had burger and chips or should I say CHIP! 15 chips on the plate!! My wife had a Pizza, it turned up cold! when pointing this out to the waitress we were just met with a black expression, not a clue what to do! suggested she got it warmed up, again blank expression. Eventually we got a warm pizza, not a word of apology. Waiting staff are in serious need of some basic training and possibly the chef!!!
And the saga continued! we were left 20 mins with our mains plates in front of us, no one came to take a dessert order! so we made our way to the till, the useless waitress didn't know how to work the till, The manager??? came to take our payment, never asked everything was ok! When I told her how disgusted we were with the whole shambles, not a response whatsoever!!! shocking servise!!! I can only recommend you find an alternative venue to eat in!

Lovely premier inn. Friendly staff and very clean spacious rooms with parking outside the rooms

Stayed at the Premier Inn in North Bishopdown for the second time last week and it was an amazing stay. I had a Premier Plus room which unfortunately had a window out over the current construction area but I was informed about this ahead of my stay, and you could barely hear it with the window closed.
My room was spotless clean and spaceous with the usual complimentary snack and drink options as well as the comfortable bed that Premier Inn advertises.
As has been my previous experience with this Premier Inn, all the staff are exceptionally friendly, warmhearted and willing to go the extra mile to help you out. You can always ask staff for just about anything and they'll try to figure it out for you. There isn't a single staff member that I could shout out because all of them were absolutely friendly and welcoming.
The area is just on the outskirts of downtown Salisbury and is perfect to go exploring both in town and the surrounding area, no matter if you go by car or by bus, and there is plenty of parking space for your stay.
If I could give bonus points it would be for letting me check in early after a long drive and advising me on the best parking spots to make sure my car was safe in the lot, and offering to call a mechanic service to fix some issues.
Safety: Staff are absolutely excellent at helping female solo travelers, and you never get a remote room to make sure you can have a safe stay.

At the time of writing this hotel is in the process of being renovated, and so the room I was given was showing its age. Apart from that it serviced its purpose. The receptionist Vicky was most helpful.
Rooms: As stated, the room was showing its age, but the hotel is being refurbished.

Staying at Premier Inn was an absolutely delightful experience. The rooms were impeccably clean, exuding a sense of comfort and tranquility. The staff members were incredibly warm, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure that every need was met. The hotel's prime location provided convenient access to various attractions and amenities, adding to the overall enjoyment of the stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Premier Inn to anyone seeking a superb accommodation experience.

When you get to your hotel after a 4 hours drive and the hotel tells you that there is no evening meals being cooked that you've paid for is damaging to the soul .ok I thought let's walk to a restaurant, Nope !!!! A 10 minute car journey is the nearest. I told you can order a takeaway and eat in your room ( isn't that big and kind of them ) after £155 you've paid out already for a night evening meal and breakfast. I looked out to the carpark and witnessed most of the customers that night were getting some sort of takeaways being delivered. Let's start on the room itself, stains on the sheets the bed ( that premier inn advise as the best sleep you will ever have ) was an old, slatted base that I could hear cracking and was probably going to break at some point very soon ,I cut my toe on glass on the toilet floor ,I ran a bath to relax and the water was cold . The room was so hot ,I was told to use an old dirty dusty fan provided in the room . This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at . Premier Inn you should be ashamed of yourselves
Rooms: Rubbish

Compared to the other Premier Inns I've stayed at, it's definitely 1 star.
Positives: comfy, clean bed. shower worked well, decent towels.
Negatives: unable to contact reception via direct phone no. to get an early check in. Tried 5 different occasions, no answer. tried twice via the premier inn hub, even they couldn't get a reply.
emailed them directly, no reply.
General state of rooms is poor - well worn. nasty discoloured toilet set, formica cracked and pulled off the dressing table.
seems some significant build is going on on site though. But this can't be used as an excuse for the rubbish state of the rest of the place.
It's been drastically run down.
I'd be embarrassed if responsible for it, and whoever is, should be sacked.
Pub. was told it opens at 5pm 'providing any bar staff turn up'.
Lovely. Really appreciated that crap. Not that I'd have bothered having a drink in there.
The whole place needs levelling, starting again and putting some management in that actually gives a toss.
The only brightness was the night receptionist who was very accommodating of our request to leave a spare key card out for our son who was coming back later. She was lovely.
As for too much of the rest of it?
Poor at best.

Premier Inn Salisbury Bishopdown
Another ?on a budget? venue for us, this time as a base for visiting Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge.
Arrived in the evening to less than a lukewarm receptionist, who just about managed a conversation after some prompting. We eventually found out from her where breakfast would be served. Strangely, next door (I hope it is not raining tomorrow)!
Then, to be told that we were on the 1st floor - without a lift for our cases. This time we were both carrying full sized cases that neither of us wanted to leave in the car. So, up we struggled.
Things got better. We had a Premier Plus room this time and it was a good style and roomy with a coffee machine.
Once again we were next to the car park but once again, with the windows shut, you couldn?t hear a thing.
The blackout curtains certainly worked well too.
A good nights sleep as promised and by morning, the staff had changed into professionals! A very helpful receptionist and a welcoming guy at the restaurant. Top marks that man on Monday 9th September!
This review might have fallen to 3 stars given the arrival, but the staff on Monday pulled it back up to 4.
Rooms: Premier Plus rooms seem designed for business men, but are a nice upgrade from the standard room.
Nearby activities: There is a fuel station 3 minutes away which has a M&S food shop inside. Small but varied.
Food and drinks: The restaurant is located next door. A nice venue with lots of room.
Noteworthy details: There are plates, knives and forks located in reception whilst the restaurant is closed in the evening if you bring food in.

Saw some 1 star reviews but went ahead and booked as it was 20-30% lower cost than other Premier Inns/Travel lodges in the region. Didn't need to have worried as all seemed okay if you can manage to use the self check-in kiosk. Good surprise was that a full breakfast was being served (Sunday 8th Sep) after hearing from Premier Inn via an email question that only continental would be available - apparently the restaurant just reopened for breakfast
