We like this cinema, especially screen 5, which is perfect for families with little kids. We love the idea of having the toilets in the same room and boosters available for the little ones.

Odeon robbed from me today, travelled to go to this cinema to turn up to be told it was cancelled, all we were told was that we should have received an e-mail, why would I check my e-mail before seeing a film for starters, no refund mentioned just had to take there word that I will get a refund. Also had no offer of compensation. All looked hopeless and didn't know what to do. Wouldn't bother going back just from the unprofessional way they dealt with the situation.

I haven't been to the cinema for ages, but went with my daughter and granddaughters to see Barbie. This was the first showing and it was packed. There was a really good atmosphere,we had a good view of the screen and had a great time with the girls enjoying food bought in the cinema.

Really good cinema, but be careful with screen 1, the seats are very far away from the screen? Try and get as close as possible or the screen isn?t much bigger than your TV at home with how far away you are ?

Amazing old building but the cinema experience was terrible! The screens need badly updating. The screen itself was tiny, theatre style so in the distance. (We usually sit middle/back as the screens are so huge nowadays but we could hardly see this screen. The sound was awful. It echoed through the room, all sound came from the front so we could hardly hear the dialogue. Toilets either side of the screen at back so constant noise of doors slamming and Air dryers. Just awful, glad we only paid £5 per ticket.

For its architecture it's worth a visit. However, very dated inside the cinema as well. Seats very uncomfortable and Odeon needs to update the venue. For £5.00 a ticket though that's what you should expect.

What an amazing place to find an Odeon cinema located in. The old house has been imaginatively converted into 5 screens. Comfortable seats and plenty of legroom.

This historic cinema is worth a visit for the building alone, and that is before you get to see a film!Once a month usually on a Monday morning, Naomi one of the really friendly staff team does an excellent guided tour of the building showing hidden behind the scenes areas and telling the story of a building which started off as as the grand hall of a 15th Century wool merchant's house, was restored in the 19th Century by Pugin (who built the current Houses of Parliament) and then had a 1,500 seat Theatre/Cinema built behind and joining on to it in the 1930s. That Cinema has since been divided up into five screens but many of the fascinating features remain and the cinema has been upgraded to the latest digital sound and projection equipment.I would highly recommend the tour or the cinema as a place to enjoy a film. If you ocassionally find that the heating or sound insulation is not quite to the standard of more modern building I'd encourage you to remember the hard work the staff do to keep this valuable and much loved building open and running over 90 years after it was built.

Why is this place is still open? Every screen but the large one looks like it should be condemned and you will also be lucky if the heating is working. You do get a free hot drink to keep you warm if heating does not work in the screens. I go here once a month as I am forced to stay in Salisbury for work and all the screens are tiny apart from the very impressive enormous screen that no film seems to be shown in any more.

Firstly, the tickets themselves were very expensive. Then the popcorn which was also hugely expensive had basically no flavour. The seats were so uncomfortable I had to constantly shift around so I wasn?t in pain. My wife was so cold she had to wear her coat. You could see our breath, it was that cold. I understand the building is old, but that was ridiculous. The sound quality of the film was atrocious. Very often you could barely make out the dialogue. Overall a very, very subpar experience. Probably the last visit we will make to Salisbury Odeon.
