“Over the last 8 years Gary and David have helped us plan, design and fit three bathroom. Their combined knowledge and experience made the whole experience a pleasure and saved us so much hassle in the long run. Gary sees things in design that I hadn't even considered; saving us from cost and heartache! Only yesterday I rang to see if I could replace a Duravit basin plug. David had one sitting on his desk waiting for me the following day and no charge! Many thanks guys!”

“I'm not surprised to see most of the other reviews are about how good Lulu is at her job, never come across such a genuinely helpful employee anywhere, she was brilliant in every aspect.Unfortunately the delivery was a real faff, and I was back and forth from work to accommodate Topps tiles rather unorganized delivery after only half the order was delivered. They did send the other half later in the day but it was very last minute and I had to rush home from work to ensure I was in.I was promised a discount by one employee due to the inconvenience of 3 people taking the afternoon of work to get on with the install, only for us to then return to work, and be told the rest of the delivery would arrive within an hour... mad rush!!!Rather blunt manager that they then wouldn't be able to do anything due to inconvenience caused, was being told one thing by one person and something else by another..Lulu is the reason for still leaving 5 stars, and they did rectify the delivery but communication wasn't good from the delivery team.”

“Myself and my husband frequently visit this store. The staff are so friendly and cheerful. They are always ready to answer questions about stock and show a genuine interest in customers. It makes for a much better shopping experience and having a chat with staff is always a pleasure.

“I visited Ryman in salisbury today for the first time and when I came in I was overwhelmed with so much stuff the they have, but Toby the supervisor on duty help with my ink needs and the right paper. I highly recommend this place. Very good quality inks and amazing staff. Thank you so much”

“I find popping in to Home sense on a fairly regular basis is the best thing. I've been decorating and came across a pair of lampshades that were perfect for my new scheme. There were high quality items at a really reasonable price. I don't purchase something every visit, but by going regularly you won't miss that perfect item.”

“A lovely visit to The Phoenix Emporium today. So many great collectibles and antiques, especially loved the books. We spent ages looking around followed by a delicious lunch of goat cheese tart which was delicious and really reasonably priced. All the staff were lovely and super friendly. “I've read some past reviews but our experience has been excellent. Somehow we over-ordered on wall tiles for the kitchen, we took the wall area measurements with us when we bought in October. We had to wait for our tiler who came this week. Straightaway, he said we had far too many boxes of tiles for the job. We called County Tiles and spoke to Dave, who was excellent, we returned all the complete boxes for a refund with no 'handling charges'. Thank you Dave, very happy.”

“On a wider retail park, access to Wickes is just off a roundabout. Large car park shared with The Range. Generally tidy and clean. Trolleys are available under a trolley cover. The entrance has special offers and across the store there are good stock levels. There are staff wondering around and those I spoke to were friendly and knowledgeable.”

“Purchased new suite excellent from start to delivery Tania was very knowledgeable and no pressure to purchase whatsoever the items arrived within one month much earlier than expected on arrival the delivery men were so pleasant and took great care especially on a very wet day the suite is really comfortable thank you all”

“BHF is my favourite charity.The store is large and stocks a range of pre-loved and sometimes new furniture, beds, and electronics. The price is fair and the staff are always helpful.Donation is quite easy. It can be done in store or through arranged pick-up at no cost.”

“I have to admit to have been in on more than one occasion looking for one thing or another when I have a hair brained scheme to cook something. I actually like this shop. It has a bright and breezy feel to it along with incredibly friendly and helpful staff, although I think they took pity on me as I clearly had no idea, or so they may have thought. Put it this way, the staff certainly knew their onions, were happy to share the wealth of knowledge and I came away none the worse for wear having ventured over to the dark side. Result!”

“Great after sales service - the edge of a vinyl floor tile which had been laid by Magic Carpets 18 months previously displayed a small tear and was lifting from the main body of the tile. I phoned Magic Carpets to ask for advice on what adhesive to use and they insisted on sending their fitters out to rectify the problem despite it being such a small job. They turned up promptly and when we said that we still had some spare tiles they replaced the defective item within minutes and the repair is unnoticeable. 2 very friendly and polite guys and great quality of workmanship. Brilliant service and we will definitely use MC again when we need any new flooring or carpets”

I had a great experience at DFS, and a big part of that was thanks to Ben. He introduced himself when we arrived and made it clear that he was available to help if we had any questions, without being pushy or overbearing. When we did have questions, Ben was very informative and took the time to find the answers to anything he didn’t have readily available.

When we decided to make a purchase, Ben made the process smooth and stress-free. He even offered us a hot drink, which was a thoughtful touch. Throughout the purchase process, he explained everything clearly and ensured we fully understood each step, making it all very easy to follow.

Overall, the combination of excellent service, a relaxed atmosphere, and helpful staff made this a fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend DFS and Ben for anyone looking for a new sofa!”

“Nice place, we did some Christmas shopping in early October with Christmas tunes blasting. It's a bit "PRE" but fun all the same. Loads more staff than customers yet they're all so busy filling shelves.Bargain basement warehouse but not all prices are bargains. Good positive staff, a good experience therefore we'll be back.”
