“Yes the cafe serves predominantly people of a certain generation but we are not too precious to come here for afternoon tea after walking all around town. We got the coffee walnut cake and the chocolate cake, both delicious and they took away the residual taste from a poor pub lunch elsewhere. Wife got the Brazilian single origin Americano coffee with liquid cream on the side as she likes it so we were happy to take the weight off our feet. Did a little shopping as well as there’s a much bigger range than in Australia. Finally you can always find a reasonable free toilet in M and S, a bonus for we tourists, and quite unlike the experience in France”

“Best rate in town, if not, they match the board rate. You can call in advance if you need exotic currencies they keep it reserved for you, nothing to pay in advance. Staff is friendly, gives good advice and offer very good customer service. Their currency card is excellent.”

“We wanted to book a trip for a big birthday with Cape Verde in mind, we were helped in store by Ellie who gave us some fantastic advice on where best to stay based on what we like to do.
