“I pretty much never write reviews but wanted to recognize the excellent customer service I received from Herman Sutherland at this branch while getting an account set up. He was extremely friendly, helpful and made the process as easy as possible.”

“I have had to go to Halifax branch for my name to be changed on my bank accounts @ 9.28am on Wednesday the 9th of October 2024.
Unfortunately the lady Kelly who looked at me with pity from the start I walked through the doors of Halifax branch @ Salisbury dealt with me badly and sadly talking to me so arrogant it made me feel like I wasn’t a customer but rather someone who is barely accepted at Halifax Bank even though I have been using Halifax since 2016 I believe. She wasn’t helpful at all and she should receive a full customer service training. No wonder why this place got only 2.7 stars out of 5 stars.
I would like to give Kelly a 0stars for not even trying to help a customer of Halifax Bank.
Lucky for me Kelly has been sent in and a new lady appeared who was to be so helpful it turned things around! Joy was lovely and helpful and was joy to deal with to be honest. She was knowledgeable and helped me with every question I have had and helped me with my every request.
If it wasn’t for her I would be considering closing my bank accounts with Halifax, just because of Kelly and her attitude towards me the customer.
