We hired the Angel Restaurant out on Friday night for a private function Murder Mystery Party and it was honestly one of the best nights we have had. 14 guests attended and this was a perfect place to hold this event. The atmosphere was spot on, with the fire lit and the perfect size for all the activities planned for. The food was brilliant with a pre order system for the BEST burgers, chips and sides that was cooked and served beautifully. All of the staff were equally loving it, so friendly and just went above and beyond to make the evening as smooth as possible.

The Angel is a great pub in the centre of the village! Staff are super friendly and welcoming and always a good day when the pub dogs are in! Perfect place to drop in for a drink and some food after a walk around the village with the dogs. Rock n roll bingo and the pub quiz are always a good bit of fun and a good laugh to go with friends every month. Also offer gluten free Peroni which is great for my dad who is Coeliac.

Great landlord. And friendly locals by the bar. Good chat about various beers. The beer here is kept wonderfully well. All in all a great visit and hopefully the first of many. Thank you all so much. Tim and Sian and Rosie the dog x

Went with friends for a meal, lovely traditional pub, food was lovely. Had a burger and glad to say not too big, which was a bonus as I don't like them too big, service was good as well.Parking: Parking is on the premises and free parkingKid-friendliness: While I was there the other table had children on that table, so children welcomed

My husband and I went to the Angel for Sunday lunch last week, and it was absolutely beautiful. Really hot, great selection of meats and vegetables and the apple crumble and custard was divine! Will most definitely go back again. Thank you Tracey & Dan.

Went here tonight for the curry night , absolutely awesome food , the beef madras was really tasty and the beef was cooked to perfection, they even made it hotter for me on request , the wife had a chicken jalfrezi which was equally as good, both curries had their own distinct flavours , no sign of a microwave in sight ! . Will 100% be returning , you should give it a try! Thanks again.

Lovely Sunday lunch with a tasty veggie option. Dog and baby friendly. Absolutely lovely management who were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
