Lovely pub, friendly, they are working really hard to keep it open and part of the community. Music events, markets and many others. Monthly music bingo well worth a go. Staff are friendly and helpful

It was a welcome break after walking in the hot afternoon sun, though I was reminded of the scene from Falling Down with Michael Douglas as we arrived bang on half 2 to be told they stopped serving food at half 2, so we had a drink and popped over the road to the sandwich shop (very nice sarnies)

Makes no difference is a customer, you know one of those rare breeds that pays the manager, owner and staffs wages, spends £5 or £50, a cheery hello or a thank you or a good bye etc goes a long way. I suggest if you intend on visiting then also you'd be better off going a long way and finding a pub that does appreciate a customer and does offer customer service. Again did not help with the young bar staff shouting on their mobile phone. Moving on .....

Just returned from The Royal Oak in Pewsey and had to write up a review on their roast dinner. 5/5 absolutely delicious, plenty of it and all hot. The beef was perfection, a choice of 5 vegetables, crispy roast potato?s, stuffing Yorkshire puds and very tasty gravy! After last weeks disappointing meal at The Antilope in Upavon this outshone them in every way. Also very friendly staff and reasonable priced. Would recommend you try it.

A terrible experience, I would not return under any circumstances and I highly recommend that people consider this pub as something that they should avoid.

Walking around Pewsey we stopped in for a drink..what a lovely pub...decorated in autumn colours with halloween decor too..and a fresh rose on every table.it was 3.30pm on a friday and it was a relaxed atmosphere..enjoyed our pints.

Stumbled across this pub by chance and was very pleased we did!
Brilliant Sunday roast. It's just a shame we live over 200 miles away, so we can't eat here every week!

Served our purposes for providing lunch whilst we were walking the local White Horse Trail but only serving a roast on a Sunday meant options were limited. Not bad but not great.

Staff were OK, when I brought a drink.The woman running the craft fair was friendly, pleasant and helpfull.Hopefully this monthly event will grow and draw a big crowd!!
